Has anyone done the Prince and Princess package? How did you like it? Were there any restrictions on the character breakfast, special seating etc.? Thanks for your thoughts!

I don't *think* there are any restrictions on the character breakfast vouchers. I asked a cm this morning if they all had to be used at the same time and she said "no".

I called yesterday to make my PS's for seating at the MGM shows. Playhouse Disney - no problem. (I got seats at the 10:00 show, cm said to doublecheck actual show times when we get to WDW). Beauty and the Beast however - the only time she was allowed to offer me seats for was the 6:00 show. I called at exactly 90 days out so I don't think the seats were gone at the other shows, just that they were blocked off for some reason.

HTH :)

The P&P is an add-on to the dreammaker package:

Plan Details:
Special seating*** at select Disney-MGM Studios shows:
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage!
Special seating*** at select Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park shows:
Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends
Festival of the Lion King
Tarzan™ Rocks!
Flights of Wonder
One Disney Character Breakfast** per person (priority seating required and may be made up to 90 days in advance)
50 Disney Dollars per child (ages 3-9), which can be used at select locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort for anything you wish, including:
The perfect outfit for your little princess or prince
Photo with your favorite princess or Disney Character
Recreation or dining throughout the Walt Disney World Resort

Can you tell me what this cost you? for 3 adults, 1 junior, 2 children and 1 infant they were going to add over $600. to my reservation! I did not think it was that much!

I was charged accurately:

$23 PER ADULT
$23 PER JUNIOR (ages 10-17)
$64 PER CHILD (ages 3-9)

HTH!:)

you have to reserve the seats for the shows in advance? i was under the impression that you just show up at the theatre and present your coupon and you get front and center seating... that's not the way it works? (kinda like a fast pass for a show) i have NO CLUE now when we'll want to see what show! oh, this bums me out if i understand it correctly! :(

We purchased this package for our last trip in January and I have to say, it wasn't worth it for that time of the year. None of the shows were nearly full enough to require the special seating. We did, of course, enjoy our character breakfast and giving the girls their Disney Dollars for spending money. However, it really came out a wash for us expense wise. If we were going in a peak season, I think it would be valuable for the seating at the shows. I would say that it truly depends on the time of year that you are going as to whether or not it is worth the extra money!

*** One viewing per Theme Park show, advance reservations required and can be arranged up to 90 days prior to arrival by calling (407) WDW-DINE (407-939-3463)† subject to availability; certain block out dates apply.

Good Luck Gigi - Hope you can still reserve a couple shows....

Sorry to bum you out, but you better start calling!!

You make the ressies now, then when you check in to your hotel you will get your passes for the shows.

Just an FYI - The times are not exact - because the exact show times are not out yet. Example - Our 10 am ressie is for the show that will start during the 10 am hour.

I spoke to CM on the telephone yesterday about our P&P Package for this upcoming September....he stated that PS didn't need to be made. You showed your room key with P&P plan information on it and you received the special seating.

I hope this is right because 90 days has long passed for us.

tbthomps... that is how i understood it when i called (after reading this thread i was panicking! LOL!) too... so maybe it depends on the time of year? fortunately, i have not told my kids about this perk so if it doesn't happen, they will not be too disappointed... since i'm not even 100% sure what days i will be doing what park, committing to a show time is practically impossible for me... oh, well... the rest of the P&P package is worth it...

$83 for adult & child... $50 back in disney dollars, and $10 kids crt and $20 adult crt, add in tax and tip to that meal and you've got more than your $83, right? so i am still happy that i did it (i like the kids getting their disney $ at check-in)

gigi1313...it's good to hear that I wasn't the only one concerned.

When is your trip, mine isn't until the end of Sept/beg of Oct....if mine is first, I'll let you know how things worked out.

nope, mine is first... but if i hit lotto i will still be there when you get there! LOL!

we're going from 8/30 to 9/6 and i cannot wait... doin' the under 30 day dance! LOL!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

perhaps they have revamped it again since february (the date on one of those threads)? or perhaps i should call again just to double confirm... we're going at a slow time of year, so i'm not super worried... the kids are not expecting it, so if they dont' get it, they wont' be devastated, kwim?

thanks again... i'll post what i find out when i call later...
