Has anyone done fantasmic in the past couple of weeks? How early did you get into line? I'm not sure about the dinner package b/c it's kind of expensive for all of us, but don't want to spend 60-90 mins in line. :confused3 I was wondering if anyone has gotten in line less than 60 minutes and able to get seats.

thanks. :flower:

Yay!! leaving in 2 days! :cool1:

We were there a week ago this evening (sigh....wish I was there again)on the advice of another park goer I struck up a conversation with he had said that they had gone on either tues or wed got there an hour ahead and barely got seats. so since ours was a spur of the moment kind of thing we were there at 8pm I noticed that the seating dead center was filled but there was plenty of other seating even down front. We sat left of center a little because we had to be on the end of a row incase DD freaked about about the sound but there were plenty of seats. You also may want to consider that as we arrived at the Studios that evening(about 5pm) it was looking pretty stormy it never rained there but it looked rather wicked so people left and it was also NOT an extra magic hour night. You may have a better chance at getting a seat later if you avoid EMH. The herds are flocking to the parks with EMH in the evening. :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer:

Also, it helps a lot if you go to the 2nd show (if there is one). It is always a lot easier to get in. It doesn't even fill up halfway most times. So if you don't have really little ones, or they can stand to be up, go to the 2nd show.

We were at the early show on 6/7 (should be that Tuesday) and we got there around 30 minutes ahead. The doors were already opened & the CM directed us down to the front. We ended up finding seats 3rd row center. Never expected to be able to do that but someone gave us PD that entire day with shows & seats at MGM. We ended up in the 2nd row for everything we went to and people offered to scoot over as we were going by. I was amazed!

I had a friend in Disney last weekend, and stated that he went in just before it started, and was able to sit. He was in the back but still able to get a seat, he also stated that he was with someone in a wheel chair, but I don't know if that helped, it usually does. I would wait this long myself, but it was his first time in disney.

We were there a few weeks ago and got there about 45 minutes before it started. It was pretty full, but they directed us down to where the seating is for people with dinner packages - I guess they had already been seated and had more room. One of the CMs was really funny and kept bringing more people down for quite some time. He would say "Do you have room for Tom? Can you move down some for Tom?" to get people to move down.

Do the second show, there was plenty of room last week 6-12-23 we could have walked right in. The first show was alot more crowded.
