We usually only do AK and MK for EE. How's that for speaking in code!

I've never done it at Epcot but DH's favorite ride is Tesk Track and I thought we could get in a ride and grab a fast pass for later before they run out or get sooo many hours ahead.

There seems to be so few attractions listed as open. Do they become overwhelmed, or do less people take advantage of the perk at Epcot?

Does it then make the park way more crowded (like MK) or because it is so spread out do the crowds desperse better?

Trying to decide if we should take advantage of it or steer clear.

Oh, and it will be busy and hot. I'm talking about the first week in August.

Thanks for experiences and opinions!

We will also be at WDW the first week of Aug. We leave in 11 days.

We did EE at Epcot last year the first week of Aug. and it was great. TT and now MS are the most crowded. Everyone goes directly to those. What we did was sent DH to get a fastpass for all of us at Test Track and then went of Universe of Energy. When we got off it was time of TT. My DH and DS got to do a soft opening for MS last year and they want to go back and try it again this year. One thing about Epcot they do not have many rides that use fastpass. I think just TT, MS and the land. After we used our FP for TT in the morning we would get another one of the afternoon before they ran out. That is one of our kids favorite rides.

I hope this helps. Have a great trip. We can not wait!!

I don't think EMH at Epcot has quite the same impact as it does at the MK (where it's really useful) or the AK (where it's not). If you really, really like TT and MS, using EMH and FP as you describe is an excellent idea. If those aren't your cup of tea (cups of teas?), then EMH probably isn't necessary.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies.

Does the park seem especially crowed that day after it opens to the public (like Magic Kingdom does on EE)?

when we went in June it was packed. Test Track posted wait was 15 minutes. We hopped in line and a couple of us ran to MS to get FP's (its posted wait was 10 min). We waited for around 45 minutes thru Test Track. By the time we got out it was time for MS which we got in in around 10 minutes.
THe line builds so fast at TT that the posted wait time can be way off that early in the morning.
