I really want to take dd to see La Nouba for her b-day (she'll be 8). I would love advice about which seats to get, I don't mind paying more but not if its not worth the extra $$ to sit up close. Otherwise I will just wait to see if they put out a discount for the Cat 2 seats closer to her b-day.

I've seen La Nouba 3 times. Once from the first row in the balcony, center, once about 8 rows back, center and once from the very first row, center.

While we thought front row center was absolutely the best most people on here think that the balcony seats are better because you aren't so close and there is a lot of aerial show to see. Even though I think being in the front section is fantastic, if money were an issue I would not be unhappy sitting in Cat 2 seats.

When we went, we sat in category 2 near an aisle between section 204 and 205, right behind category 1 seats. Between 204 and 203 would also be good...actually anywhere toward the front of these sections.

We thought our seats were perfect. I chose them based on recommendations from TGM. I purposely bought them from ticketmaster so that I could choose our exact seats.

I was going to say I don't think there are discounts, but then I saw on the disney websites there are some discounts for Florida residents (which you are) for category 2 seats.

You would have to decide if its worth waiting for the discount, or you would rather have more control over where you will sit.

Enjoy your trip and happy b-day to your DD!

Go on the actual Cirque website and sign up for their club and you will get emails with promos etc. Over the last year several deals have come up for Cat 2 seating.
DD and I went. I posted and read all the reviews here before buying and overwhelmingly everyone said there really isn't a bad seat in the house. After going I completely agree. We bought Cat3 seats to save a bit and I was quite pleased with them and we didn't miss a thing. Much of the show is overhead and if you were in Cat1 you would be craning your neck to see anything above. I would take Cat3 or Cat2 over Cat1 seats any day and would have been disappointed with paying extra for Cat1 seats. YMMV.

I attended this show during my fall trip to the world, and it simply blew me away! I tried tickemaster over and over again and was getting seats that I didn't think I would enjoy based on reviews as in the closest ones to the end of the stage which would have meant constant looking up or back and forth from the front of the stage to the back of the stage (think like viewing a fast tennis match to take it all in) so I called the theater directly to ask about a first row balcony seat, I had to be connected to a supervisor but she was very nice and was able to give me exactly what I needed over the phone, the physical "tickets" were in the mail about 4 days later, and they are more like a credit card instead of a paper ticket, so they made nice magnets for the fridge with a piece of stick on craft magnet.

I think you and your daughter would like the first row balcony simply because there won't be any heads in her way, and they are close enough for all the action to be enjoyed.

Thanks so much for the replies, the balcony sounds perfect because dd hates heads in front of her. ;)
