I just moved to SC from South Jersey, and it takes me 12 hours from here to Jersey, and 7.5 hrs. from here to Orlando. Of course traffic around D.C. can have an enormous effect on total drive time.

OMGosh! It's almost May! I have been doing everything to get ready for graduation (May 6) and sending off what I need to take my boards that it just didn't really hit me til now. It's almost MAY!!

POP Century from May 7th - 12th!!

Kids don't know about the trip yet and I am holding off on telling them until the very last minute (leaving on Sunday the 6th to drive down- 19 hour car ride). I will tell them when we get in the van to leave Sunday morning that we are going to FL so get your pillows and get ready cuz we're going to DISNEY!!!!! I can't wait. I don't know if I am more excited to suprise the kids or just to go and be there.

Anyway all of you May'ers have a great vacation and be well!

Less than two weeks to go!!!

We're driving to Florida on May 4th and spending two days at my aunt's house and then driving to WDW on the 6th!!!

Hi!

This is my first post here. I had to share my excitement after reading everyone else's posts about going in May. My family and I will be at WDW May 11 - 16! Yay!! We're members of the DVC, so we're staying at Wilderness Lodge this time.

I was disappointed to see that Alfredo's in Italy is closing in August! That's my favorite restaurant at WDW...so we'll be going there for sure this time.

We're also going to the Princess Storybook meal in Norway, the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at the GF, and Cap'n Jack's. I'm looking forward to these meals because I've never been to any of them. So, we're trying something new!

I'll join in too! I just booked a long weekend, flying down 5/9 and staying until 5/13!! Staying with my cousin. Tyler should have a blast, he's 17months old and Daddy, well he's never been either and he's 33!! Neither know about it yet!!

You will really enjoy Shades. If you have not been before, you are in for a real treat! Not your typical military hotel, for sure!!!!! We have stayed there every year since it opened (except for the couple it was closed for renovations).

I think alot of us will be at POR in May. I'll be there with my best friend May9-15th. It's getting close. We are also bringing her daughter and her daughters boyfriend. He has never been to Disney ever before, so we are excited to show it to him!
