Anyone do the Illuminations Dessert Party Last Night?

Did anyone do the Illuminations Dessert party last night? Was the view of Illuminations a clear one - where exactly is the party area?

I am a bit of a newbie. Illuminations the Epcot fireworks show, correct? How do you reserve it and what does it cost?

I checked the price and I think it is way too much for just desserts. $49 for a seat an desserts while the Fantasmic! dinner package is $56 seems a bit much.

I am curious as well. It does seem quite expensive for dessert and wine. Is seating available throughout Illuminations or will they just offer a few tables to eat dessert?

Hoping someone went and can confirm, seating or no seating? Very curious to find out, wanting to take my mom in August, but she cannot stand for 2+ hours and there is no way she can sit on the ground. Thanks!

There are seats? If so, I may do this., I didn't think there were going to be seats. I just had knee surgery so, I don't want to pay that much and be miserable.

I didn't attended, but I followed several people who attended last night on Instagram. The viewing area seems to be in between the two gift shops as you walk into the world showcase (their names escape me)...the desserts include baklava, tiramisu, cronuts, Mickey premium bars, ice cream sandwiches and several other items. Plus the wine (at least for last night) was unlimited. So for some people the unlimited wine will be well worth the price. I expect there will be full reviews from several bloggers around today sometime...am I allowed to post which sites? If not PM and I'll let you know.

Why do they not have any seating?! If we are paying $50 bucks per person there should be seats, what are they thinking? After a long day, everyone just wants to sit down.

This looks like a great idea, love the dessert, wine and location just need seats and it would be worth it. But with out seats nope. Even if it is just benches, they need something.
