I'm wondering how crowded it might be on AK's early entry day at 7:00 AM the day after Easter. We are staying at AKL and thought about just going to do the safari and then coming back to the hotel. Since it is so early, I'm thinking it might not be that bad, but I'm also guessing that anyone there for early entry is rushing to the safari as well. Also, how long does it take to get to the safari from the entrance? Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - Laurie

Red, we will be there bright and early.......See ya there !!!!!princess:

We were fairly far back in line for the opening. As it was, my eldest son and DH went off ahead and it took a few minutes bobbing and weaving in and around the crowds at a good pace to get to the safari. We were in the 2nd truck and it was worth being winded. The animals are up and eating and so active. Next time I'll get up even earlier to have a better spot at the entrance. There were just so many people ahead of us the last time. We had to be careful not to run anyone over.

My son and I will also be there that day.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

The 12th will be our last full day, so I'm planning to hit our favorites in each park.

My only worry is that we'll have to be on the bus at 6:15-6:30am:eek:

Anyone know howI can find out what time the first FOTLK will be?

We will also be there for the 7am EE that morning!!
I doubt we will be alone
Can't Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I recall correctly about 10-12 minutes walk should do it - you may be held up at a rope drop at the junction where you go Left for Africa and right for Asia/Dinoland

Stick to the Left/middle of the queue as Africa is that way

Have a great trip, DAK is out favourite park by day

thanks
