I have never eaten at CRT but would like to try it. I think it would be awesome to eat in the castle. My boys are 3 & 5 and of course not huge fans of the princesses like girls would be, but i think they would enjoy it in the castle and all and it would be cute to get pics of them with the princesses. :thumbsup2. So does anyone ever eat here without any DD's in there party?

I do have a dd but my ds liked it better than she did. The characters were all like 'Oh here's the prince, what a handsome prince' and he got a ton of attention.

I think you should go for it!

I went with my 5 yr old DS. He was in love with Cinderella for about 15 minutes. Then he met sleeping beauty and totally fell for her :rotfl: It's all about "the pink one" now. He and I had a nice time and the food was really good. He wants to go back but my 9 yr old DS & DH want nothing to do with it

I do not have a dd either. I have never eaten in the castle, however, on both of our trips to WDW, ds (age 5 first trip and 6 second trip) did want to eat with Princesses. He is not into them at all at home, but wanted to check them out. We ate at Akershus in Norway (epcot). It was a really good meal, both traditional American food and a buffet of Norwegian items (which were good as well!)

We met FIVE princesses (Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel). They came around and all gave him lots of attention, calling him handsome, and prince and he LOVED it. Also, when you go in, you get your photo with a princess (it was belle when we went) and while you're eating they bring you the photo - you get an 8x10 and four 4x6 photos as part of the cost of your meal.

Anyway, what I'm saying is if you want to eat in the castle your boys, then you should do it. You won't be the only one or the first... and I'd be willing to bet you all have fun! :) :goodvibes

I wanted CRT for my birthday breakfast and I have a son...he loved it and got alot of attention from the princessess (he was shy at first then he got into flirting with them). He got a sword and I got a wishing star which he wanted also. My husband, son and I enjoyed the meal and the experience in eating in the castle. When we went 2 months ago he did ask if he can eat in the castle again but the dinner menu didn't have anything he liked to eat and all our breakfast was planned already with a character meal everyday. One day we will eat in the castle again if he asked again. My son thinks its Mickey castle not the princesses.

I have two boys and a DH...We have been to Disney several times but no castle...I have always wanted to go...

We are going this July for our 10 year anniversary. DH and kids say I deserve a meal fit for a princess. The boys are loking forward to the swords. DH says he is going just for me. I do not think they will be into the characters at all but we shall see. I think having the photo will be nice to document our special day.

Wish my male dominate party luck :wizard:

We took our boys 5 and 7. They didn't even know who the Princesses were but loved eating in the Castle...the special attention each princess gave them. They enjoyed the sword given to them. It was a great dining experience and well worth it. I would definitely take your boys!:)

I have two boys.....4 & 3. They loved the princesses even though they probably don't know who any of them are minus Cinderella (not really into the princess movies). But LOVED eating in the castle!

I have been debating this too. My boys will be 2 & 5 at the time of our trip. Last time at DW ds1 was 2.5. The princesses were actually his favorite characters to meet because they gave him a lot of attention and actually spoke to him (as opposed to the masked characters who cannot talk). Right now I have it on my plan but I don't make my ADR's for a few months so that could change:laughing:

Had lunch in the castle back in 2008 when my boys where 6 and 5 and they loved it (especially the swords)! So much so all three of my guys requested it again for our upcoming trip.

Thanks for the input everyone. I have all my adr's for May but i might see if i can get a ressie for CRT. If not then def next time we go. I think DH will enjoy it also. ;) I just thought it might be funny going there with no little girls, but i guess not. :thumbsup2

I went with my DS in September and he LOVED the princesses. Mainly he loved all of the attention they gave him :rotfl2: We are hoping to make it back on our next trip and it will still be DH, myself and DS.

He loved it! Cinderella was so cute in the lobby. While having the picture package photo taken she told the photographer that she blinked in the last photo to please take it again. Then, when my son was posing she bent down and kissed him on the cheek. It was adorable. All the princesses called him Prince and it was a great time for him. He loved the wishing star ceremony and the sword.

DS8 is really looking forward to being a "handsome prince" in a room full of princesses at Akershus in September lol.
