I am wondering if any of you usually do 2 or more TS each day.
I am planning on making 2 ADR's for most days- Mostly a breakfast and dinner for most days, then will have a snack or lunch if we need to. Anyone else?

when we went we did a lunch and a dinner TS with PS. and then stayed in the park with the late nite MH, so we were never up for breakfast!

During our 14night stay Aug 13-27 DS & I ate at 20 ARs. I had more booked that we didnt make. And our last dinner was at ESPN which didnt have an AR.

At least one a day and often two.It helps us to be able to eat near the time we want where we want without much wait.I'm diabetic so I need to eat at certain times to maintain good sugar levels. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

somedays we do. We will often do a big breafast bufffet or sit-down, and have a ts dinner. in between we snack. Some days we will do cs breakfast and then a bigger snack and the ts dinner. i think one day we had a ts lunch and ts dinner

We just returned and did 1 TS a day. We're not a big breakfast family so we just had an earlier CS lunch and then our TS dinner at 5:00 or 5:30 with snacks as needed, and that was more than sufficient for us.

We are going to DW for 10 days. On the first day we have an ADR for Nine Dragons for lunch and an ADR for Chef's de France for dinner.
On our 7 day we are having a late breakfast at Boatwrights, no lunch,(maybe Beaches n' Cream icecream in the afternoon) and then ADR for Ohana's for an early dinner. For the rest of our trip, we are only doing one TS (dinner) per day.

we never eat more than 2 meals on vacation 1 larger and 1 lighter but they are usually ts, either breakfast and late lunch or early lunch and late dinner. we tried a couple of times last trip when we had a late dinner adr, to eat a lighter breakfst & split a lunch sit down and we just felt like all we did was eat. we were so sick of eating by the end of the trip we just ate counter dinner the last night..not that it wasn't good just too much of a good thing

We did 2 TS meals on 2 of our 6 days last week. We were so full that we skipped lunch one of the days and just had a light snack and the other day we ate lunch so late we hardly ate anything at dinner. We found we were constantly full on the trip and stretched to use all our credits on the meal plan. We could have easily fed an 5th person with our 4 person credits. We didn't really care for the food at either breakfast (Donald's breakfastsaurus and PSB) and wouldn't do those again, but would try a CP breakfast on a day we were leaving. We were glad to have had the experience of the character breakfasts, and it was nice to have them come to our table instead of standing in line in the heat, but the food was not worth the money we paid. Next time we'll do less character TS meals (we did 6) and save our credits for a couple 2 TS credit meals and do more counter service meals for dinner. We had to use 6 CS credits yesterday before leaving. Thes breakfasts also tend to take at least an hour (ours were actually and hour and a half by the time we ate and got all the characters autographs and pictures) and I thought after the fact that we'd have been better off riding the rides since the crowds were lower at that time in the morning.

Most of the ADRs I made are for 5 or 6 p.m. with the hopes that we can do an early CS. Does anyone know what time CS places open? I'm thinking 11 a.m. maybe? I can give the kids a light breakfast, have lunch at 11, snack at 3, and dinner at 6 if it all works out. Does this sound right? Also, although my ressies are normally around 6, I'm not counting on being seated right away and think maybe dinner will actually arrive at 6:45 or so?

The only day the plan seems to be a problem is at MGM when I have MM for 4:50 so we can do Fantasmic after. We really want to eat at Sci-Fi for lunch but not sure we will be able to eat again at 5. Maybe the adults will share a lunch? The kids can surely eat a KM at 11:30 and another at 5:15 or so I think.

I'm taking my mom to WDW in Dec. She is a VERY brittle diabetic and must eat on her regular schedule. Not only does her blood suger drop easily, but when it does she has passed out on us several times. I have a tendency to get busy and then forget to eat. Due to this, we are scheduling about 22-23 TS meals for our 10 day trip. I know that's alot, but it will make me slow down for her and make sure she eats well and regularly. Most days we will be doing three TS. I'll probably be having alot of just fruit for breakfast and will be ordering alot of appetizers, but she must eat real food with caloric value.

we also had the dinning package it is well worth it if you get the preium plan. all meals and show tours are all covered under it. you should look into it!

We are a family of 4, DH and myself are 30 and DS are 4 and 7.

We usually grap a juice box and a granola bar and eat it for breakfast, usually in the room or in line for the parks to open. We usually make PS arrangements for luch and dinner. We like the opportunity to relax in the middle of a busy touring day, we don't ever really pig out. We might get an appatizer for the family to share and might even spit an enteree. Sometimes the kids even share. This is not an economics thing, the portion sizes are rediculous. We will then tour for another hour or two after lunch and head back to the room to swim, relax and put on some smart clothes for the evening meal and activites.

This year we have the dining plan so, our rythem will be thrown off. I have us doing counter service for lunch one or two days (we are there for 7), not a whole lot of choice at AK anyway and will do it one day at MK - I hear the new noodle place is really good and since we eat lunch early, usually about 11 am, we should be able to score a table. I guess we will have to slide through a counter servie place for a light breakfast instead of the granola bars on some days so we don't end up wasting the counter service vouchers. We plan to go to the food and wine festival some nights so, this should help keep a balance and not run out of Table Service credits too soon. There is a chance that my husband and the kids might snack as they like to hit the arkade at the hotel after an evening at the parks...midnight snacks, I don't know how they do it! I sleep terribly on a full stomach.

We usually do a quick breakfast then TS lunch and dinner. With the DDE card it is as cheap as a CS restaurant.

We do 3 TS a day - early breakfast, usually a character buffet before 8am, sit down lunch with appy, entree, dessert around 1, then sit down dinner with appy, entree, dessert around 7. I guess we just love to eat - and walking all over the world really makes us hungry.

Maybe 2 or 3 days on a long trip I will do 2 TS. But definitely 1 a day. To make sure that we have something and won't have to wait crazy hours just to eat... :)

We tend to do 2 TS meals each day...either breakfast and early dinner or lunch and a later dinner...just depends because DS and DH don't like to get up early, DS isn't a big breakfast person...he'd rather wait a couple of hours and then eat. We aren't big fans of the hotel midday break either, so by having a sit down meal midday it gives us enough of a break to regenerate. In 2003, we did the old Gold Plan, which is (I think) hte equivalent of the premium MYW plan now...we had 3 meals every day paid for which included (basically) a non alcoholic drink, an appetizer, an entree, and dessert. For our breakfasts then we'd eat at Mara most mornings with a hot drink (coffee for us and hot chocolate for DS), a breakfast meal, and a bottle of juice which we'd take with us into the park for a mid morning snack. Now, we just use the DDE card and it saves quite a bit and since we're now DVC members we always have a fridge so we can keep milk and juice in the room without any problem, so we've cut back to 2 bigger meals supplemented by snacks when hunger hits.

On previous trips we always had the deluxe dining plan and did 3 ts meals per day. Man- that is A LOT of food- but oh so yummy too! :earboy2:
This trip we are doing 2 TS per day with a CS lunch on most days, but there is at least 1 day where we are doing 3 TS (I think its the day we hit MGM since I wanted to go to Sci Fi for lunch) We will be paying some of our food out of pocket, but it still is so much cheaper than going back to the deluxe dining plan.
Anyway, all of our breakfasts are either character buffets or at our sit down restaurant at our hotel (POR) which we will pay for, most lunches are CS (on the DP) and all of the dinners are TS (on the DP).

We did 2 TS a day. Lunch at noon(or as close to as possible...some of our ADRs were for 12:15 or 12:20) and then dinner at 7 or 7:30. For breakfast, we just grabbed a piece of fruit or muffin or something. This is going to be our only trip without kids since we plan on starting a family soon and DH had lots of favorite places he wanted to eat at...I told him once we have kids, we are not doing 2 TS everyday!

For our up coming two week trip, we pretty much have 2 TS's planned everyday, breakfast and a dinner. We figured we would just snack on something for lunch.
