Anyone dislike...?(dental question)

Does anyone else hate getting impressions done at the dentist? I had to get one done yesterday for a soft tray for my top teeth, and I about threw up! They tell you to breath through your nose, but I just can't do those huge trays full of that nasty pink gunk!

Okay...had to vent! Done now!

Oh I hate that, that was the worst part of braces. The pain I could stand, but that cold, thick gloppy stuff in my mouth...ugh! I almost lost my lunch a few times getting impressions.

I still remember how horrible it was when I was getting ready to get braces. They didn't believe me when I said it was running down my throat. When they pulled it out they saw I was right. It was all I could do to keep from getting sick.

The orthodontist nearly had my breakfast on his shirt each of the many times he did impressions on me. I can't see how they think those trays will fit comfortably in anyone's mouth.

Oh, I remember this green "minty" tasting stuff when I got braces years ago. At least it was SUPPOSED to be minty tasting. Tasted more like flavored wallpaper paste! LOL
