Anyone disappointed in the MNSSHP pins?

I’ve gone the past 2 years{won’t be going this year unfortunately}. And while I like getting the pins, the pins themselves never really moved me. I can’t put my finger on it, but the art on the pins seems a bit cheesy. Not like the regular pins Disney offers. Has anyone else noticed this?

Also, I just looked at the 2006 MNSSHP pins. What is the deal with 3 different pins having the same general Mickey & Pluto pose? You’d think that pin development{or whatever the group is called} could come up with completely different scenes/poses for each pin. I’m disappointed.

They had the pins out at the Pin Event last weekend, so I got to see them up close. They are dark, like the MNSSHP pins have been for a while, and I also am a bit disappointed in them. Not very clever...

Of course, I'll still be buying them :rotfl2:

I think they are better than this year's MVMCP designs. Hopefully those will look better once they make it into actual pin form, instead of just looking at the design art, but I doubt it. :(

Where can you see the pins for MVMCP?

They were in a thread at pinpics forums, but the links to the pics are broken now anyway. They will probably have pics of them up soon in some official capacity on the site.

MVMCP? The Christmas party? Not sure those pins are posted yet. The Halloween pins just got posted on ODPT this past week.

I personally am very excited b/c there are never tink pins on the day that I go to events w/ special pins. and the night I go to MNSSHP is a tink pin-yay!
...y.

Looks like we will be E-baying it again for DD . Our night has Pluto I think. Also by the end of the Parties 30th I wonder if they will have the AP pins still avail.

I just have to remember to check MSJ as soon as we arrive at the park for the party.
