Hi all,

I was looking at the menu and pictures for Bluezoo and thought it looked great, but I haven't read any reviews on here about it (granted I haven't searched tooo far back). Anyone been there, thoughts? I read something recently about crab nachos? Mmm those sound good!

Thanks for your help! :goodvibes

The crab nachos are delish, we always get them. If it's not on the menu just ask for them, they always have them. The Shellfish platter is awesome too although pricey. They do an excellent job with their fish also. BlueZoo has become one of our favorite dinning spots.

We also enjoyed the crab nachos...they wouldn't make the clam flatbread for us last time which was a major bummer.

bluezoo is our go to destination for adults only meals when we don't feel like dressing for V&A. It's our absolute favorite place to dine.

Uncleromulus is right about the scallop/pork appetizer. It's so good it makes my leg twitch like Thumper. And that dessert I had a few months ago made me want to cry. It was a special for the evening and I don't often do dessert but it sounded good and I'm so glad I made myself miserable stuffing that in on top of the raw oysters and my tuna entree.

We've never had anything here we didn't love. I ate here on all 3 trips in 2010.

I had dinner there last Tuesday night (2/22). Dinner was spectacular. Well worth a visit.

Thanks all! I'm adding it to our list of must-do dining for May. I'll make sure to get the crab nachos and the scallop/short rib app - sounds amazing! I'm a huge Disney fan, my boyfriend who is traveling with me also loves Disney but the more I talk to him about our trip the more I find he's not really enthused about the theme dining, he'd like a break from some of the "show" and to just enjoy a nice meal, so this sounds like the perfect option! Thank you for your comments!:goodvibes

Todd English's bluezoo™ is definitely adult and upscale, not themed to Disney in any way. I think your boyfriend will be pleased.

What's the dress code here? It's obviously nicer than WDW's Signature restaurants but below Victoria and Albert's. I don't mind packing dresses, but am not wearing heels on vacation. What shoes do you ladies wear?:rotfl:

The code is exactly the same as all the other Signatures. No need to dress up unless you really want to.

We will be staying at BWV in Oct. for the first time and wanted to try a new place. This sounds perfect. Thanks for all the great reviews. Bluezoo, here we come!:goodvibes

I guess I should have looked before I started a new thread, sorry. I am glad to see this. We are planning a last minute trip next month. Are there any discount coupons available for this restaurant since it isn't a Disney restaurant?

We are planning on eating at the Bluezoo on our first grown-ups only trip this october, and we CAN NOT wait! I have only heard amazing things about this resturant. MY mouth is already watering. I know the menu changes by seasons so i hope the braised short rib app. is still ava. I really want to try that. It sounded delish.

Check out restaurant.com; I believe they have some sort of discount coupon available although it's not going to help you much with the prices here. We easily spend $100 per person on dinner at blue zoo by the time we get the appetizers, entrees and drinks. They also accept the TIW card; it cannot be combined with one of the discount coupons.

The short rib appetizer was there in October 2010. I'm hoping it's there this October too.

I know you replied to someone else but I took your advice and checked out restaurant.com. I got a certificate for Shulas and Bluezoo. We have dined at Shulas and it was wonderful. The certificates are only for $25 each but its a start.

BlueZoo is absolutely wonderful. Their clam chowder is great, the lobster appetizer is delicious. We also had I believe it was a swordfish dish that was just out of this world. Enjoy!!
