Anyone decorate you hotel window and Door?

Just wondering if any decorated thier hotel door and window for your wedding. I see alot of Disers just decorate with lime green mickeys, have sign in sheets for people passing by..etc. I would love to see pictures if you have some!

I plan to decorate our room and the rooms of everyone in the wedding party with signs that say "Maid of Honor" "Parents of the Bride" and so on!

I plan to make scrap pages with pictures and hang those up as well!

A former co-worker of mine made bows for the benches on Sunrise Terrace for us and she made way too many, so we decorated our room with them. We put them on the lampshades, the balcony sliding glass door, all the furniture. It was cute. We left it up when we checked out. I liked it but mousekeeping might not have

I have read on these boards that some people make door hanging signs stating they are guests of the wedding and put them in gift bags they give their guests at their hotel room. This way if they hang the sign on the door other guests will know you are all there for the wedding.

I made a doorhanger for our door that says, "Just Married".......I'm not at home but I can post a picture later when I get there!

I was really active in reading the thread with the sign up list for boxes of window decorations to pass from person to person depending on their stay.......but then I stopped reading it! It think it would be fun to decorate, though!!

Good idea... My Sis and I decorate our room window with all type of disney window cling on's and I put my lime green mickey head.. I love the idea about decorating for the wedding..

These are paint samples from Home Depot. They have Disney paint and all their samples are shapped like Mickey heads. One of the paint colors is lime green (not sure of the actual name). Alot of people take these from Home Depot and use them to decorate all different things.

just to add to that, the lime green is the "official" color of the disboards. alot of people just pin them onto their bags or something in the parks to let others know they are on the disboards!

I was shopping on ebay one day (yes, I'm addicted) and found one of those pillow door hangers. Its embroidered with "and they lived happily ever after". I bought it to put on our door for our Disneymoon.

If I've got the time this afternoon it looks like I'll be stopping by Home Depot to er . . . shop for some paint colors I'm interested in. Yeah, thast's it. I'm painting my bedroom Disney Green and I need LOTS of color sawtches, hehehe.

I think decorating your room is a great idea and I'm so glad everybody is sharing ideas about this. Does management ever have a problem with this? Has anyone encountered problems? Yes folks, the glass is always half empty for me and I have to worry about something as silly as decorating a room.

It would be nice to somehow designate the wedding party rooms (as guests might be staying in many different places making them difficult to decorate). Looks like I have some on-line shopping on my itinerary (did I spell that right?) for today.

We also did the doorhangers....everybody received one in their welcome bag as a favor. I got all of the supplies at AC Moore and made them myself

I'm making deco's for our door. While werare there DH will be observing a birthday. I've used my CRICUT to make Happy Birthday cut out letter and several 12" full color Disney characters. I also am gonna borrow someone else's idea of leaving a blank paper for b'day wishes. Then I read someone's area kinda got trashed with inappropriate messages. Now I'm concerned if I put the full color Disney characters on the outside of out door, someone will help themselves to them. Am I worrying about nothing? I did consider just putting it the window, but I wanna deco that with something else.
