Anyone else coming in the day before & staying at the Radisson? Anyone flying from Akron/Canton airport?

We'll be coming from Northeastern PA, maybe from Philadelphia depending on the flight costs. We will come in the night before and probably stay near the airport. We won't be renting a car.

We will come in the night before and probably stay at the airport Hyatt. We did that last time and it was very convenient.

hello fellow 5/15/04 cruisers.

We are hoping to fly in the day before, We are flying from Manchester NH. I want to stay @ the Hyatt at the airport.
We flew in the same day for our last cruise, and it was way too stressful..

We are also looking at the golden eagle catamaran excursion. It looks like alot of fun!!!!

I'm sure we will be chatting more soon...

 We will be staying at the Radisson also. We did this time & it was WONDERFUL! The king suite is awsome--jacuzzi in the bedroom & it's beautifully decorated. Hubby & I really enjoyed the room--got there Friday around 12:30 pm--enjoyed the pool, pool bar etc.--a great way to start the cruise vacation so we'll be doing it again next year only we won't be using their shuttle to transport us & our luggage to port terminal--too much hastle. We'll be taking our car with luggage to port terminal, hubby will drop me & luggage off & go back to park car at Radisson and then catch shuttle back to port. A lot less stress. We liked the Radisson so much I'm planning on us taking a weekend to go over there, stay at Radisson, go to Jetty Park & watch the Magic leave, & go to Cape Canaveral. Haven't been there in a long time!

We are planning to fly in the day before and stay at the Hyatt too. We are very undecided how we are going to get to and back from port. There will be five of us and all our luggage. We are really against taking DCL transportation. That will cost us about $250 and from what we saw on this past cruise the busses didn't seem to arrive before noon. We really want to get to port around 11am. We got there at that time this past cruise and that was perfect. Any ideas on transportation?

We are thinking we'd stay at the Hyatt the night before. There will be 2 of us and we haven't purchased DCL transfers. We are hoping to find alternate less expensive mode of transportation. Check out http://www.yourride.net/cruises/

Thanks! That looks great. It will save us $100 and we can chose the time. For 5 people I assume that they will use a van. We will probably need it with all the luggage.

SO glad you found a better deal. Be sure to cancel your DCL transfers!

We never made any transfer reservations, but thanks for the reminder.
