I had such fun this morning trying out ecvs at our local medical store!! Out of the 4 evc's they had on display only one was comfortable because of back problems that I have and the seat of the ecv. When I called Walker this morning, the person there said a standard ecv would work for both me and my husband (I am 5'6" and 225 and my husband 6' 275). the assistant at Walkers said the only difference between the standard model and heavy duty was the seat (standard 18 inches and heavy duty 22 wide) and the platform on the heavy duty was able to carry more weight. The arms on either one were not adjustable as the one I tried here in our local store which were wonderful. Has anyone tried both of the types of ecv's at Walkers and what did you think of the differences? There was a huge difference in comfort in the ones I tried here at home today. Also has anyone tried a different rental company that had skooters with adjustable arms and seats? Walker did say that their steering column was adjustable. Thanks for any comments!
