I just checked in last night for our 4/29 cruise and there is nowhere to reserve time in the kid's club for this age group. I understand the 3, 4 and unvaccinated 5 year olds still have to reserve time slots. Is that done on board now and not ahead of time?

Did you check under onboard fun, select a day, then youth activities? That's where it is showing up on my cruise. (I dont have a kid so I cant check availability to see if it actually works)

I have the opposite problem. My app tells me I do need to reserve a time slot for my vaccinated 7 year old.

Sure did. There is no "Youth Activities" anywhere.

We recently checked in a 4 year old for a 4/18 cruise on the Disney Dream. We had to check-in our kid, but no longer need to make a time slot reservation just checked my port activities and I can now book a time slot for her. I guess you can't book a time slot for your kid until you complete the check-in process (at 30 days) and then need to go back into your onboard activities and book a time.

I did already check-in and have searched everywhere under Onboard Fun, Port Activities, etc. There is nowhere to reserve time slots at the youth club. Maybe a glitch?

Yeah, that’s a little weird! I didn’t check right after check-in, so I can’t tell you if it takes a couple days, but today is 18 days from our cruise and we uploaded our docs/checked in right at midnight on March 19.

This was what I was able to book today (child’s name is blurred).

I emailed them last night with the question. I am at 28 days out and there is absolutely nowhere in the app or website to reserve time slots for the youth club.
I know it doesn't help your frustration at not getting a real answer from Disney, but if it makes you feel any better, I think it's very unlikely for timeslots to "sell out."

Probably another issue with the upgrade. I checked in for our April 23rd cruise and it was available at the 30 day mark. As mentioned, it was under onboard activities and you had to choose your day each time for it to appear.

Try computer, sometimes the app seems to be workings, sometimes the actual site is better, and sometimes Disney's IT gets involved and breaks both.

True, there are many more kids who are over 5 at the moment. If you do continue to have a problem with booking before your cruise and have to do it onboard, you will be able to get time slots, maybe not exactly the times you wanted but you will definitely get some.

I finally got a response through email contact with instructions on where to go to find the Youth Activities reservations. Unfortunately, it's just not there in either the app or website. I have no clue at this point. If we get on board and somehow the majority of the 3-4 yr old reservation slots are magically booked up, I'm going to be beyond livid.

As of this past weekend a lot of the restrictions have been dropped and I thought I read they aren't separating the young ones in the Club/Lab anymore, no reservation needed.

I had a CM read directly from the sheet from disney to me that under 5s do NOT require reservations any longer

Thank you SO much! Did they happen to say if they're still confined to one room? Or mixed in with the other kids?

What she read was explicit in that they will not be separated or require reservations...the only thing the statement didn't address was masks
