Anyone Celebrating Something on the Cruise

I'll be celebrating taking a month off of work. Three weeks Vacation + our Holiday Week.

Just as I was piling a huge helping of the chocolate lava cake and sauce on my plate, you came up and said, "Whatcha doing, lady?"

You were being nice and my head turned it into - ummm... making poor food choices, sir.

You didn't do anything wrong - I make my own guilt trips! :rotfl:

I hear you there. I tend to be "shy" about what I eat in public. I wish you all could eat with all the time. I'd be much thinner. I think that Paul caught me at the desserts line, too, at Palo. Which makes me think. Hmmm, if he saw me, and he saw you, then he must have had TWO trips to the dessert line :) It's a good thing Paul's nice, or he would have scared me.

I like to watch pretty girls eat dessert. What can I say. :goodvibes

I'm really glad I read this post - it's reminding me that my Mom will be celebrating her 80th birthday on 12/10/10. I'm going to have to do something extraordinary for that.

I'm going to go broke next year - Walter's 50th, Mom's 80th!

We will be celebrating my daughters 14th birthday in the parks and on the cruise. Its Dec. 10th. I took my grandson last year on his 8th birthday and she was so jealous that he got to have his birthday at Disney so the cruise is so exciting for her to have her birthday on.

Let's all sing to your mom at dinner one night.:scared::laughing:

My husband and I both turn 60 :hourglass:scared1: that fall (Sept and Oct) and then in November I will be retiring:rolleyes1 so I am counting the cruise as our celebration.

I keep telling my husband we should just stay at WDW after the cruise, because I don't have to hurry back to work. He doesn't think that is very nice. Can't figure out why! :confused3

Retirement means more trips to WDW :cool1:

Hi btrim:

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement!!! :thumbsup2

You could always tell him that you could stay a few extra days while he goes back to work... I doubt it if that goes over well but it might we worth a try.

Mark,

I have thought of that, but I don't think it will work. He loves Disney as much as I do, so I would feel bad if I got to stay and he had to go home. I do think we will at least finish the week and weekend after the cruise at disney though. Where in Missouri are you from? Our oldest daughter is moving to Springfield, MO this summer to teach at Drury University.

Hi:

We live in a suburb of St. Louis.

Your daugther should enjoy the Springfield area... Really nice lakes and the rolling hills of the Ozarks... and if she likes country she is certainly close to Branson.

We are currently planning on coming down to WDW three days before the cruise and staying maybe to Saturday after the cruise. While we are there we thought that we might as well see WDW dressed up for Christmas and take in their special Christmas events.

Take care,

Mark

Just signed myself & DH up for the cruise today --- waiting for confirmation :surfweb:
I'll be celebrating my birthday - December 15th :)
