Anyone camping July 4th weekend?

We will be camping in a pop up from Wed to Sat also! This is the first I have heard of the green Mickeys so I guess I will get to work on that lol. See you all in Disney!!!

what time do they have the parade?, I wanna be there for it, but i also want to see MK fireworks and parade...

Same here...we plan to try to go to Poly to watch fireworks from the beach...I think it will just be too crowded inside MK that night. :crowded:

We will be there! I didn't get to go last year and I've been sooooooo homesick :worried:. We will be arriving the 30th and staying till the 15th.. Most likely be in 2000 loop tent camping.

:welcome: to all of the newcomers! I'm looking forward to meeting everybody in just over a month!! :goodvibes

Mouse14,

I appreciate your leadership on this topic (while I sit here on the sidelines at home).

I have tried in the past to line thing up for DIS'sers at the Fort and the bottom line is people's schedules are very fluid. It's hard to commit to be ina certain place at a certain time. So my advice would be to post your campsite number when you get there, hang out a shingle (so to speak) for folks to come by and visit (specific time and place) and then pass that info (their campsite, when they're leaving, etc) to those who come by.

I was schooled by Hizzoner on this technique which seems to work well. I still like Donnie and am glad he's out there being sociable and helpful. :woohoo:

So be grateful for anyone who says "hey" and keep a green mickey sign out there for people to find you. I've had notes left on my vehicle, people say "roll tide" to DW when I wasn't there, and the like.

Have fun! :woohoo:

We were going to watch the fireworks from Ft wilderness beach. Is it better at the Polynesian.
