Was hoping I could just go to the store and buy one of these
"O2-Cool Carabiner Water Misting Fans" (the Mini ones that have a clip which hooks to
your beltloop) but not sure where to find them?

Walmart, Target, Walgreens? Or do I have to order online?

Also do they work OK? I like that you can hook them to your beltloop
and not have to carry a heavy fan around the neck.

Thanks so much :flower3:

I bought 2 of these fans before my trip in May a while back -- when Wal-Mart was just putting out its summer season stuff. I thought that I could just attach it to the back of our backpack for an easier way to cool off. The fans worked great! Yes, they are small, but they did the job and were easier than the large fan I had for my DD. I was very glad for the fans in AK -- that park is always so hot!

I just bought some at Academy Sports, they were 5 or 6 dollars. I found them in the camping isle. I haven't used them, but based on the recommendations on here they are great!

I looked at 5 Walmarts in my area, and only found 1.

thanks so much, I'm going to look at Walmart and hoping they still have some.
Did you buy them in outdoor supplies or up by the registers?

I bought a couple last week at Walmart. They were located on the isle that has air filters, box fans etc. I havent tried them yet but they look nice. I have a 6 yr old daughter and her hand is too small to use them. Better suited for adults it seems. I believe the were $4.76 here.

Used these on our last few trips to Orlando and they work great. The boys were able to attach them to their landyards, which was one less thing for me to carry. They did eventually twist off the blades (soft neoprene-type stuff), but that was long after the trip.

If you don't find them at Walmart, try Dick's sporting goods. They are in the camping aisle there. They are about $1 higher than WM, but cheaper than anything you get at the world.
