Anyone booking the first week of Dec.?

We just booked VWL for the first week of Dec, the week after T'giving. Who else is going then?

I was there Dec. 1-8 this year. The crowd level was light. No ride wait time longer than 45 minutes, most less than 20 minutes. MVMCP was awesome. Well worth the extra ticket. No wait for any of the rides that night.

We were there this year for the week after thanksgiving, which was earlier than it will be next year...it was beautiful, nice weather, low crowds, and all the decorations were up...AND we hit Whoopie Goldberg for the CP...it doesn't get much better than that!

Forgive the dumb question, but how are you booking Dec already? I can't even get quotes for BWV for end of Nov/early Dec (website nor central ressies)? We aren't owners if that makes a difference. We've never even considered a villa before but are for this trip.

Forgive the dumb question, but how are you booking Dec already? I can't even get quotes for BWV for end of Nov/early Dec (website nor central ressies)? We aren't owners if that makes a difference. We've never even considered a villa before but are for this trip.

Owners can book their home resort 11 months prior to check-in date.

It depends when you called them. I don't know about Central Reservations as DVC is not booked thru them. But you could have started booking a stay at any DVC you own for Nov 28, 2013 on Dec 28, 2012.

Disney doesn't rent points. You need to find a BWV owner or go through a rental agency.

If an agency is saying its not yet available, that means that agency doesn't have any owners with BWV points to rent for Dec. 2013.

Thanks. I called WDW and inquired about a cash rez and was told not available yet and then was told the same thing by a third party renter. This is why I should just stick to hotels

The response from CRO I can understand but not David's stating that the dates haven't opened up. If they said they couldn't fulfill your request at this time (ie, need to find points to rent to you) I'd understand but the dates for booking Nov 28th thru Dec 8th are open for booking. If you are looking for a longer stay then that would still be the problem where you have to wait a little longer to rent the entire stay.

It was an email from David's that said I needed to wait 'til Jan 28th. This was on Jan 1 so I was a little out of it confused3) and didn't reallly think much of it until I started counting the 11 months. I didn't do an official "rez request" with them, just sent an email asking if I was right with my math on when I could actually request a rez. I think I just need to start over.

BTW, when do cash reservations open up with WDW? Right now the website just shows unavailable for all DVCs (my dates are 11/28/13 - 12/4/13)

Which resort are you hoping to switch to? I think we wii stay with VWL, but might try to switch to BC.

I'm trying to get into VGC that week, but can't find an owner to rent points. Should be an awesome week at Disney!!
