I'm having trouble getting ressies for the Poly for two different times I want to come - BUT... it does show on Orbitz.

Anyone use these travel services and what's your experience?

I book often using Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz...never had a problem. I love their availability for the WDW resorts.

What kind of reservation documents to you get - just on the internet? It probably wouldn't have WDW's conf. #, does it? How about making ADR's and such? I guess you are in the system? Can they access the number if you need? I was also wanting to call and request a building that I always stay in. I've never had a problem when I've done it with WDW...

All you do thru those sites is book your room. I'm afraid you're on your own for anything else, including ADRs.

Granted I've only used Expedia last year to book my room. I got a printout with the confirmation # on it which I took "just in case".

Yep, you just get a confirmation # through the website. I have used Expedia 25+ times and never had a problem at checkin.

Even though you book through a travel website, Disney will have your ressie in their system. I would just call a few weeks before arrival and make your building/room request and then it never hurts to ask again when you get there.

I booked CBR through Travlocity last August and was able to pick my room location when we arrived.

As far as ADR's, I would imagine you are on your own, but if you call Disney, I wonder if they would give you a direct # to the restaurants of your choice and you could make ressies that way (thats what I did when I stayed onsite at Uiniversal).
