Ok, I once again need help. I'm thinking about booking my honeymoon/vacation online and I was wondering how that works. I've never booked things online before and it's kinda scary for me:scared1:

I was wondering if you have to pay the full amount when you book or can you make payments. Also, can you you pay the remainder of the total upon arrival. Like I said, I really have no clue how this works!!:confused3 I don't know if I would be better off calling or doing it online.

Anyone who can help me that would be greatly appreciated!!!:thanks:

We booked this vacay entirely online. We had to make a deposit to Disney of $200, and the full payment due 45 days before we leave (we did the MYW package). I believe if you are doing room only that it is only a $100 deposit, and I am not sure if you have to have the balance paid the 45 days out. Someone else will definalty have that answer here!! The plane fare was due immediatly in fulll. Over the past three years we have booked all or part of our vacays online. I was nervous at first, but not anymore, just make sure the site is secure and you have security software on your computer ( I know it isn't a guarantee, but at least it is something)

Have fun planning!!

I booked mine online this year and last year (not through Disney directly, but through Dreams Unlimited)

Here is how it works with them... you request your quote, giving them the details of what you need. They then send you an email giving you a quote. If it looks good to you, you have I believe 14 days to make a deposit. After you make your deposit, you get an agent that works on your trip. They will help you make ADRs and any other things they may help you with, including making an itenerary based on your preferences. You can make payments anytime, and it must be paid in full by 45 days prior to your trip.

This is my only experience with booking, so don't know how everyone else handles it... but I hope this helps you!!

I have only for last mnute trips with delta vacation . I found I saved about
$ 200.00

Same as everyone else. 200 down and full amount 45 days away. You also can make payments of $20 or more when ever you want prior to your full amount deadline;)

:cool1: We have booked on line in the past and have had no trouble. If you call WDW and book, make sure you tell them you do not want insurance ( unless of course you do). This year I called because of a special promotion and our CM didn't mention it so I did not know we had it. Then I compared it to the online price and it was off a couple of hundres dollars almost. They had added the ins. automatically--so we quickly had it removed and all was well. Have Fun. If you are going in Oct. do the MNSSHP.

Many times - it works very well. After you pay your deposit, then you can make payments as often as you'd like until the final due date - 45 days prior to your arrival.

While booking online through Disney is wonderful, I would seriously consider calling directly. Here are my reasons. . .

1. Telling them it is your Honeymoon. . .automatically posted on ressie
2. Possibly having a code attached to your name. . .just ask
3. Being able to book exactly what you want. . .online room style is limited. . .trust me here. . .
4. I usually only book room only. . .this is the BEST way to go for room only. . .

I have heard that Dreams Unlimited is wonderful. . .might try them on some future vaca that doesn't include APs. . .
