Anyone Booked on April 15 2012 Dream

When can we book excursions? Originally I was not going to book anything but might do one of the less expensive ones.

We cannot wait. We are pulling the girls out of school for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of the week before and will be at Disney. We are then going to drive down to the port on Sunday morning. I cannot wait to go. I need a vacation so badly!!!!!!

Your cruise has to be paid in full before you can book anything. And then, it depends on your Castaway Club level. New cruisers can book 75 days before sail date. Silver members 90 days, gold 105 and platinum & concierge 120 days.

This will be are 1st cruise for our family. We will be coming from Westfield, MA. New at this! We do Disney resorts each year. Will do 3 days at Grand Floridian before cruise. Sad we got 2nd seating, especially with a 7yr. old. what adventure does everyone do in Nassau, we like the Atlantis. Signing up for Meet and Greet etc...

Well, it looks like we won't be joining the Patriots in the Caribbean cruise; we've had to change our dates yet again and will be sailing in August instead. The good news is that we get a 5-day one in August so an extra day at Castaway Cay.

I will keep the spreadsheet up for anyone who wants to add their names and other details but I've removed us from the list:

Sorry to hear that...we had an unexpected large expense come up last month (sick cat, three days at Tufts, cha-ching!), and may be changing our date too. We did just get back from a week in WDW, so we're not as upset as we'd be if we had to change it with no new memories

Yay! We are 120 days out on Saturday.....got our email from Shoreside Concierge today. Can't wait to get some plans in place....like a cabana! Time is going by quickly.....anyone else getting excited??

Congrats mpetersen! How exciting! SO you will be how far along for the cruise? Hope you are feeling well.
My kids are excited because they just found out that their cousins & aunt and uncle are coming on the trip with us...yay! The more, the merrier....right???

We will be 23 weeks at sail time, I'm looking forward to relaxing and enjoying being pampered Disney style.. As for how I feel - fabulous!!
Let's get this board jumping.. Isn't ANYONE excited, or do we need 2 feet of snow to get us longing for castaway cay?

We are new to cruising and very excited for our cruise in April. When can we start booking our excursions? I know I have this information somewhere and need to find it.

Are there any suggestions for good excursions? I don't want to spend a lot.

I've heard there's a way to get into Atlantis by reserving a room instead of booking the excursion. It's significantly cheaper.

We've decided to change the date. We'll be sailing either April vacation or Thanksgiving of 2013. I had some small photos printed of the "logo," to make bookmarks. Can I mail them to someone for their FE? I had made magnetic ones for the Halloween cruise and that was my plan again. Let me know and I'm happy to send them along.

Hi mhawk!

If this is your first Disney Cruise, you are able to book excursions etc. at 75 days out. We are thinking of going to Atlantis for the day. DCL's prices are ridiculously high for these excursions. If you book a room at The Comfort Suites, you get full priviledges at Atlantis, including use of the beach and water park....much cheaper!! Still trying to decide...

Yay! 90 days We are SO looking forward to the trip! We are still up for both the FE and the lanyards. Is anyone flying Direct Air out of Worcester? We are flying out on Sat. afternoon & staying at the MCO Hyatt overnight....still trying to find a good price on that. Now that the snow has finally arrived, I'm looking forward to it even more!

Did anyone else realize we are sailing on the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic? I wonder if they will say anything about it on board!

Hello there-We just booked the April 15th cruise! So excited! This is our 5th DCL-2nd on the Dream. We sailed the Dream in Oct with my parents to celebrate their 48th anniv. This one is just the 4 of us-Jennifer,DH,David,Mark(13),Scott(5-butwill be 16 by sail).

My 2DS(13,15) LOVED the clubs so much they begged to go back while they are stil in seperate clubs. Sooo, we are going again instead of the usual time at BCV in early May. They always enjoyed the clubs but this time we really ad to set times to meet them to see them. Anyone else with kids in these groups?

We had a great time with the FE on our last cruise so if it's not to late we would love to join! I haven't had a chance to skim the thread yet, just wanted to stop and say Hello!


I see lots of MA people. We've made lots of trips there with my older son's ice hockey team over the yrs. That's one of our fav trips and the boys want to go back to Boston area just to sightsee, pick apples, the corn maze,..We were usually there in the fall. Right now he just got home from HS hockey night and we need to go for xrays in the am on his arm!

I'll start reading for info/FE in the am. Can't wait!

Definitely not too late to join the FE in fact it's so small I was hoping more people would join. What should the cutoff day be? Is march 15 too early?
