anyone booked Deluxe w/20% coupon,then got 40% off later?

For those that have trips already booked with 20% off coupon, does Disney ever e mail 40% off once 20% is booked? Another words, are you "bypassed" once 20% is received?

We had just called and tried to use a 30% off PIN and were given 40% off, almost a $1000 savings on a Beach Club stay

That's what I was wondering as well. I booked with 20% but I am curious if a 40% would over ride that one.

part of Disney's marketing plan is to incent their target market to book at Disney so they "offer" a discount "code" (referred to in this thread as a coupon). To date, the code has not been broken as to who gets a code and whether those that do - get a 20%, 30% or 40% code. Furthermore, from what I can surmise by reading these boards, these codes are ONLY good for non-peak periods so I believe you could not get a 40% off code for June or July for instance.

There are theorists that say if you order a DVD, you "might" trigger a code. Codes are emailed and/or provided by postcard so other theorists say you should sign up for the newsletter too to put your name in the hat for a code.

hope that helps... I got a 20% code; however, it's not valid for the dates we'll be traveling AND it was only for value resorts (we're staying in a deluxe).

If you understand target marketing better than the rest of us, please fill in the blanks and break the code for us all!
