all i want to know is that i have booked my flight on line (Virgin Atlantic).

Do i just take my e-ticket with me along with the credit card i booked it on?

Do i take this to check- in on the day?

Has anyone ever done this?
Thanks.

I booked on line too but with BA. You just need to take your credit card that you paid with when you check in and you will get your boarding passes then just like you would if you had a paper ticket. I guess Virgin will have a similar system to BA. For BA you can select your seat and print your boarding passes at a machine by inserting your credit card. Then you take your bags to a fast bag drop where they do the security checks etc so you do not need to que up with the people who have paper tickets. It should make check in quicker for you.
Have a good trip,
Dana

I would suggest that you also print out your travel itinerary, as I have been asked to provide evidence of this on our departure from the US; i.e. the e-ticket was not enough.

We've also recently booked on-line with BA. Danauk has already given you the facts..................my only downer is we won't get the excitement of tickets arriving in the post!!

thank you for all your worthwhile advice - i was paranoid that the e-ticket would not be valid or something!
