I am trying to change from WL to maybe BC or YC and they are saying there is no availability. Is it that full or do they do that because the promotion ended?

Most like it is because the promotion is over but it could also be that they don't have any more rooms available that were eligible for the 4/3 promotion. Not all rooms were eligible for the 4/3 promotion, only so many were set aside at each resort for that promotion.

7/4???

It was 4/3, I was told by a CM on the phone that anything past the 4/3 Disney was charging rack rates for extra nights.....

I switched from WL to BL about 2 weeks ago and had a hard time doing so. When I originally booked, the WL was hard to get and all room types were available for BC and YC. I then convinced DH to switch resorts and BC and YC were no longer available. I checked everyday for weeks and one afternoon it showed up on the website (standard and water views) and called immediately to switch. I was able to get a standard view room in May. I am not certain what is going on there, but I have not seen many rooms since - even rack rate. I would suggest that you keep on trying - Good luck!

Call and ask for the Travel Trade group, they may be able to help you.

We were booked at CSR and decided a week ago to switch. I really wanted BWI or BC/YC but there was absolutely no availability. Our dates were sold out (Sat - Sat) for everything except SSR. I did search Sun-Sun and was able to get GF GV, so we extened our trip by a day. There were only a limited number of rooms available with the promotion. If you have your heart set on YC/BC maybe try adjusting your days, or just continue calling hoping for a cancellation. People do cancel right before the 45 day mark.

I did not say I wanted to keep the 4/3 deal, but I called to change my reservation today and was told there was NO availability AT ALL. When I do an online search, there are plenty of rooms available, so I am thinking she was trying to find something that was available with the previous 4/3 deal.

We were lucky, I had booked the flight there but not the return flight yet. I kept meaning to do it but never got around to it. So I guess it was meant to be.

I would keep calling back hoping for a cancellation and maybe you'll get lucky!

What's that?

I called to switch my resort under free dining bounceback a couple of times and was told there was no availability. I called last week, the first person at CRO transferred me and the guy switched my resort for me. He said that the other people I had been speaking didn't have the authority to make the change and if I wanted to make another change as for some one in Travel Trade.

Maybe that will help you as well.

I got it changed to Beach Club! I got this really nice guy on the phone and he called guest services and changed it.

and was really trying for Pop. On Tuesday I called back and Pop was available with the same deal 4/3- so I switched no problem, but they did have to check with guest services to verify there was a room available.

We are on the 4/3 in June and I called about upgrading from moderate to deluxe for the last two nights. The price difference is too much to consider the change.

You would not be able to keep a 7 for 4 offer for two nights at a different resort anyway. :confused3 You would have to stay at one resort during the 7 nights.
You could forfeit two of your free nights at the original resort booked and book a separate room for two nights at a different resort I suppose. But that would be a more expensive way to just stay two nights at one resort.

I agree, it wouldn't be worth it to try to change for two nites since the rack rates at the Deluxes are so much and you would be giving up two of your free days. Have you looked into just changing the resort? We were booked at CSR and the difference between that and BWI was around $750 for the week. Not a small amount of money, but to keep CSR and add two nights at BWI at the rack rate would have been $1,000. The difference in price would also be less if you chose WL or AKL.
