Just curious about travel insurance for my upcoming 7 day cruise in September. Since I booked using DVC points, if I needed to cancel make a change how does that work? I'm guessing I don't get points back? Do they reimburse you monitarily? My husband will most likely not be traveling w/ me due to his work schedule and I'm probably going to take my mom instead (she's the designated back-up-cruiser). I know that I have to make that change before 75 days out to avoid any penalties -- I just have to pay the $95 booking charge to change his name to hers. DH says if it's just us 2 girls that he'd feel better if we got the travel insurance. Any thoughts? Is it worth it? What does it really cover? I mean, in the off chance something were to happen a week or so before the cruise and we couldn't go do I loose everything with or without the insurance?? I've cruised 7 times w/ Disney and only purchased insurance on the 1st cruise which was not through DVC and it was 9 years ago so I don't really remember much about it. Please HELP!!
