I usually book through a Disney specialist travel agent but I decided to get a second option because they have a plan to pay 12 months equal payments.

My question is when I checked on the Disney site I was quoted one price and through sears its 800 cheaper! How can that be :confused3

I am trying to book the play, stay and dine plan and even though it says its the plan on sears I'm worried there is something wrong. I haven't booked yet but I'm wondering the pros and cons with going with Sears travel vs. who I've always gone with.

Thanks.

Could be that Sears, like Expedia or ITravel2000, is a tour operator and buys blocks of reservations. Therefore, they get them at a cheaper rate and can sell to you at a cheaper rate.

Your TA, like mine, buys one package at a time, when a client's requests it so they are not given the same (cheaper) rate

When you checked Disney's site, did you get a quote using the "special offers" section? If Disney has a special promotion, their website won't quote the reduced rate unless you enter the specific promo code (ie the Spring up to 30% off promo).

Sears' website may already be including the lower rate.

Also, confirm the class of room is exactly the same. Disney's website frequently will give you a quote on a premium room, and you have to adjust the search options to get it to show rates for the standard rooms.

Usually, I find that to be the only differences.
