Anyone been to Whispering Canyon lately?

I had read awhile back that the atmosphere at Whispering Canyon had changed. That they no longer made jokes and had the same loud fun atmosphere, like when they asked for ketchup or soda refills (I don't want to spoil for those of you who haven't gone if they still do it). At the time it seemed people were reporting different experiences at the restaurant. I was thinking of make a reservation for an upcoming trip but wanted to know if it still had the fun atmosphere. Has anyone been recently?

We were there in Dec and everything was still exciting! The kids had a ball!

A great time was had by us in November when our waitress was "Hickory". She's awesome!!!

we went in dec/jan and it was great.ketchup and pony rides still there.
1 st. trip was in jun 04 and it was wild,bandanas as hats with straws stuck in them and makeing dw sing you are my sunshine to our freinds.the whole nine yards.
if you compair the 1st trip to the last trip it does look like it is a little tamer.
but all in all it is a must do in all of our trips every year.even our teenager has a good time.

Just had dinner at WCC last Thursday (2/12). All of the usual fanfare was still there....ketchup, pony rides, fun wait staff antics. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

oh good I am happy to hear it is still fun. Yes, I agree, it has calmed down over the years which makes me sad. It just used to be a riot! We would eat there twice each trip but now we only go once. Still it is one of the favorites for our groups!
