Anyone been to the Expo on Saturday afternoon?

Is there any merchandise left that late? Will the lines be long for packet pickup? Thanks!

I dont know about marathon weekend but when I was there for the minnie marathon 08 (I know it is a lot smaller) we were really last minute to the expo, there was no lines and got through packet pickup the same speed as all the other disney races (the organization always amazes me!) but they did not have any goody bags left and they were offering to send them to people but made no promises, they did have shirts abd they just gave them in a wdw bag, but no goodies, I think they might have just under oreded that year. sorry I dont know about the Marathon weekend (Jan 10 will be my first) but I hope this might help

There is still some merchandise left but anything that might be popular won't be there. In the past some of the polo shirts and t-shirts have sold out by Friday afternoon. We have seen the stuffed Mickey's, sweatshirts, mugs, workout pants... in the afternoon on Saturday though.

Hey Shan!!

I went to the marathon expo on Thursday and of course the shelves were stocked. It was pretty busy but not so crazy that you couldn't move. I think I waited about 20 minutes in line to buy the offical stuff I wanted.

I went on Thursday because when I did the Minnie last May, I waited until Saturday afternoon and there was not much left and they ran out of the "goody bags" that you got with registration. They were also running low on the tech shirts you got with registration and were asking if you wanted a shirt from the 5K instead. I took the tech.

Anyways, if you sign up and can't get there until Saturday, let me know and if there is something (shirt, pins, hat) that you must have, I will get it for you and then see you at the meet. Of course we have lots of time to iron out the details!!

Holy cow! That would upset me if they didn't at least have the tech shirt that comes with registration!

I might take you up on your offer. Can I get back with you in say nine months? I really want to do this race, but since we already have NYE planned I'd be pushing it. If I can talk DH into it and swing it this trip would have to be a quickie.
