Oh we had so much fun last year! We went to the last taping and waited in line for quite a while. We had not that good seats and the sun was baking! Make sure you bring sunscreen!! We were lobsters when we were done. The show will tape rain or shine so be prepared for that. We had the shine! They were as accommodating as possible. The show ran an hour for us. They film it as though it is a normal show, pausing for commercials. During the commercials, we got water delivered because it was so hot. During the show, she gave us all a voucher for a free annual pass. From what I understand it was only the last taping that got it.
The only problem I had is what you saw on tv was the extent of her interaction with the audience. She arrived on a swan, did her monologue, danced, and then didn't talk to us at all. I was expecting a thanks for coming or i appreciate you kind of thing during a break, but we didn't get any of that. It disappointed me, but the free annual passes made up for that! haha! Have fun! I couldn't go this time because it is my birthday and I'm going to see Wicked in Lauderdale.
