Anyone been to the Coral Reef?

Been there a few times with great meals.

We love Coral Reef.
Ask for a table next to the tank.

We had a diver for our DS a year ago. I will have to dig for the phone #. If I find it I will post it (or PM you).

Some people say the food portions are small. They are the right size for us.

Best if you have the meal plan or DDE. The prices can be expensive.

To get personalized menus - they need to be emailed jpg or gif pictures (digital pictures). Again you need the phone # to make the arrangements.
I will try to find the phone # for you.

We ate at the Coral Reef for our 9th anniversary in May. I had called ahead for a diver sign. We were seated about 10 minutes after our ADR time. We were seated on the first floor, but not up close to the tank. Then the diver sign never came until I had to go up and ask about it and then DH knew something was up. But it did finally come. The food was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but still pretty good. The kids liked the tanks and divers. It is a very dark restaurant and very loud too. And VERY expensive!!!!! We would have never paid that much to eat there if we hadn't been on the DDP.

Overall it was pretty good, but I think we are going to try Le Cellier next time instead.

We have eaten at Le Cellier several times. It is our favorite at EPCOT. The surf and turf is melt in your mouth (only available on certain nights)

Tip:avoid the cheese plate appetizer (smelly cheese with bitter tastes!)

We ate here last week. We had been a couple of years ago and weren't terribly impressed with the food, but loved the atmosphere, and our girls really loved the atmosphere so we decided to go for that.

Boy were we surprised. The food and service were fantastic. We had an early ADR (5ish), waited only about 3 minutes to be seated, had Jenny, who was absolutely wonderful, new the menu and wine list inside out, made great recommendations, entrees were wonderful, desserts outstanding, had a great view of the tank.

It was a really great meal, possibly because our expectations had been so low! We'll definitely go back.

We've gone 3 times in the past 4 years. My kids love looking at the fish. Last year this gigantic turtle just floated completely still next to our glass and just stared at us while we were eating- it was hysterical!

This past trip I has a personalized menu and diver for my husbands b-day. It worked out wonderfully. I also ordered a cake for his birthday. Of course, we were so stuffed we couldn't eat the cake and I gave it to the waitress for the staff in the kitchen- two of them came out to thank us! They also gave my three boys light up ice cubes as a thank you.

Great experience!

We ate there on August 17 and had the personalized menu and diver for my son. Everything was really perfect. We were seated right next to the tank. DH and I both got the cajun catfish. This was a nice piece of spicy catfish served over cheesy grits which I loved. There were some stewed tomatoes on top of the fish. DH and I split the crab claw appetizer. DS17 (birthday boy) had the shrimp pasta. He said he liked the shrimp pasta he had at Sci Fi better. DS12 had roast chicken which he loved. I had citrus creme brulee for my dessert - it was okay. I thought the citrus was alittle overpowering. DS12 had the ice cream from the kids menu and DS17 was brought a complementary dessert - white chocolate cheese cake which I tried and it was wonderful.
