I am thinking of making an ADR there. I would love to hear your experiences if you've been there. Thanks in advance!

I've been twice. The first time was wonderful service, great meal and all around a terrific experience. This last time- even though the restaurant was almost empty- we waited 20 minutes plus for our ADR because they didn't have servers, then were seated in a table totally unacceptable for our party (we were travelling needing highchair and a spot for a wheelchair). Our dinners came out before our appetizers (*this also happened to my inlaws awhile back). That being said- food is still good and I still like it there- but i do wonder if they can't keep up whenthe place is empty- what's it like when there are tables filled?

As tinkandpan I have been twice but unlike tinkandpan have had a wonderful experience each time (would be interested in knowing when -time and date -tinkandpan had there ADR). The food was exactly as expected -good but not great - the atmosphere is very good and you (if you like to partake of adult beverages) have to try the Blacksmith (mix of Guiness and John Smiths). By the way one time I was there it was empty (around 4 PM) and the next time was packed (7PM) and I did notice service was actually better when it was packed.

We were there the first week of May for a 5:00 ADR. It was either Monday or Tuesday of that week (so either the 7th or 8th).

on Friday, May 11th. We had the It's not Bleedin Chowder and the Kevin's Heavenly Ham. Both excellent as was the Scallop Forest App.

Service started out slow but after we finally got a waiter everything was great.

I'll be back...

Loved the place. We went to Ireland in 2005, and it kind of recaptured the feel for us -- the music was great :teeth:

DH and I both had the Drunk Chicken appetizer -- very good, the glaze was not overpowering and the lime cilantro sauce was a nice contrast. He, Guinness fan that he is, had Sod the Stew, said it was delicious, nice rich Guinness-touched gravy. I had Serious Sirloin Steak -- asked for medium, and it was cooked perfectly, wonderful mashed potatoes (would expect nothing less at an Irish restaurant!!!) He had the banana dessert, Banoffi Beauty, and said it was tasty. I had the famous Bread and Butter Pudding. The sauces were amazing. I had stopped eating my dinner, didn't finish about 1/4 of it to try to save room for dessert, and couldn't even eat half of it, wonderful as it was. If I'd known how good the dessert would be, I'd have left 1/3 of my steak dinner instead...

DH had a Guinness (of course) and a Smithwick's; I had a Berrytini that was very yummy, not overpoweringly alcoholic, had quite a bit of fruit juice in it.

Our waiter was friendly and efficient, if a bit harried...we had to ask twice for coffee, but no big deal, the place was packed. We tipped extra, because Raglan Road is one of the restaurants that only tips their waiters based on what Disney reimburses for the Dining Plan meals, not on the actual price of the menu items purchased.

We were there last week for lunch. We thought the food was great but service was very slow. The place only had three other families in it but it seemed to be too much for our waitress. I would love to go in the evening when they have live music.

When we went in Dec, I got food poisoning from my meal. I was sick for hours but I would still go back! The food was great...eeeeeven though...it was bad? :lmao:
