Anyone been to Jamaica with children

I've been looking at Jamaica and wondered if anyone had been with small children.
Any advice on hotels etc. ?

One of my friends is there at the moment (I think the hotel is the Starfish Trelawney). I'll let you know what she thinks when she gets back (she has taken her 8 year old DD)
