Anyone been to Holy Land?

Hi from Texas-
We're on our way June 13th. We read something about a new attraction - I think it was called Holy Land.
Has anyone been there? What did you think? Was it expensive and how long does it take to do?

I've toured the Holy Land Experience and my opinion is that it is very well done -- if you accept it on its own terms.

Admission is $17 and my guess is that non-believers will find this too much to pay. Maybe that's the point.

You can "do" Holy Land in about four hours, but if you really want to see it all it can take longer than that. There's a pretty nice restaurant so it's easy to make a day of it.

It will be interesting to see how the Holy Land Experience makes out in touristy Orlando. from what I saw while I was there, there is a pent up demand for something like this.

Just wanted to add that I agree with what Kelly wrote above. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning in a couple years. Next year, they'll open Scriptorium, an exhibit showcasing the largest private collection of biblical artifacts in the world. Then, they anticipate later expansion to include exhibits on Genesis/Creation and Genesis/The Flood. Judging by what we've seen so far, these will be worth the return trip, IMHO.
