We're going in a few weeks and wondered if anyone has been to extra magic hours during the last 2 - 3 weeks. Wanted to know if the evening EMH are less crowded in the slower season. Thanks

I just got back this morning and did notice higher numbers of people in the parks on EMH days. Having said that most rides were walk ons anyway so I still don't think you'd have huge waits but we did avoid EMH days and I think that was the best strategy for us.

Just got back Friday, the only EMH we did was EPCOT Thurs night, The lines after Illuminations spiked from 10 min wait to 40 to 60 min waits on TT and Soarin.ahoo.com/

Did the EMH at MK on Sept. 14, it was a total ZOO! Everything had lines of at least 20-30min., (this was after walking right on everything during the day). Don't forget, that even though WDW might be less crowded at this time of year, the EMH means that there is only one park open and everyone staying at a WDW resort is going to want to go there.

We did EMH on September 28, at the MK. It was crowded. The wait times were longer then, than during the regular park hours.

we were there 9/9 thru 9/17. I don't remember what day it was but we did do an evening EMH at MK. We had no problems at all, except for rude men at parades, the crowds were still very low. We were there until almost midnight and most of the rides were walk-ons. We didn't do any morning EMH's because we had such low lines during the evenings.

we were there sept. 17-23, we did EMH at magic kingdom, epcot, and mgm and it was not very crowded, walked on most rides

We did evening EMH at all four parks last week. The only really long line was on Thursday at Soarin which was 90 minutes. We were able to do a lot and ride several rides more than once. If there were rides close together like Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain and MS and TT we would get a fast pass for one and then ride the other and then go back for the fast pass.(daytime) If we came upon a ride that we wanted to ride that was 30 minutes or less then we went for it. The wait did not seem that long because the lines were constantly moving. It was so nice last week.

I have to agree with the assessment of the 9/28 MK Evening EMH. It was more crowded than when we were there on Tuesday during the day (9/27).

It still wasn't that bad as it is September.

We went to the evening EMH at MGM on Sunday Sept 18th. We didn't like it at all. The lines were longer than during other times of our vacation (Sept 10-21) and the streets were very crowded.

We avoided parks on the days of their EMHs and hit the crowds pretty well. Most had no waits or 10 minutes or less. During the EMH at MGM we had a 30 minute wait for TOT and that was very late at night.

The only plus side of the EMH at MGM that day was that we were part of a VERY small crowd for playhouse disney. I guess most of that target audience had gone to bed. :)
