Anyone been to Clearwater Marine Aquarium?

To see Winter?


I just bought us tickets to go in July. Would love to know more.

We went. Took a day out of our Orlando vacation to visit winter and friends. My kids love marine life and winter's story. They enjoyed it though it was small. It is a rehab facility but they were expanding while we were there. I'm sure it's much bigger now. Seeing all the animals that have overcome medical odds is inspiring.
We took the boat to the museum in town. Then road the bus or trolley back. The museum of movie artifacts was neat.

Winter comes out at scheduled times, just be sure to get a good place to watch at least 15 minutes before . We were there inOct. 2012 and my kids loved it even thought it was small. we did morning at the beach and then went over there after lunch before driving back to Kissimmee.

Is it super busy?

I didn't think it was super busy. We spent more time at the museum. Since they remodeled I'm sure it will have more things to see and do. Before, you could see winter through port hole in the lower level. You could also pay to have pictures taken.

We visit CMA June 2012. It was amazing. It is fairly small. The movie museum is nice. The staff are great. My family thought it was definitily worth it. We did see Winter and Hope. Wasn't super busy. Great facility.
