I was wondering if 1900 PF still brings out the Sundae dessert at the end of the meal?
My mother wants to go here for her 60th birthday and when we were there last year I remember having one brought to our table.

I know things change a lot in the course of a year, so I was wondering if anyone has been there recently and can talk to how the food was.
Last year they didnt have chicken nuggets for the kids at the buffet-is this still the case?
Any good pasta or seafood choices?
I know I loved the strawberry soup and there was a stirfry that I liked, so I stuck with that.

We will be at MK her birthday day, and we are paying OOP-would anyone have any other suggestions for a party of 6 to eat. (2 young kids and 4 adults) that will be a good value paying OOP and also a good meal selection?

Thanks so much!

The breakfast at 1900PF is pretty darn tasty, the dinner not so much. I thought the dinner was VERY disappointing. Poor quality & selection. I was disappointed. I honestly dont remember seeing anyone bring out sundaes to tables. Sorry. Unless someone else has different info, maybe they can chime in?

If you want all-you-can eat meal in the MK area, why not Ohana at the poly? You will get an endless supply of food in a gorgeous atmosphere. if you time it right you can see wishes. plus they have activities for kids. :thumbsup2 check out the menu on this website.

If you really wanted character dining thou, i'd much sooner go to crystal palace than 1900pf. Food has always been consistently good. Wonderful variety. Beautiful restaurant. And the characters are great!

I ate at 1900PF on 1/30 and enjoyed it. They had a butternut squash soup that was a tad spicy, but still good. Chicken marsala was good, and they had an excellent vegetable pasta. Not entirely sure about the chicken nuggets for the kids, but I know I saw them on either the 1900PF or Cape May buffet during my trip, just not sure which one. Not sure what you mean about a sundae dessert.

last year they started serving a wonderful yummy sundae dessert- i think they were having isues with the soft serve machine. it came out at the end brought by your server, and was sooooo good! we had it may7/11 our last night there. we just came back jan 6th and ate there jan5/12 and no go on the sundae dessert. i was so disappointed! te soft serve machine is still there, altho the shutters/doors are closed up around it.

perhaps a case of more cutbacks on disney's part. strawberry soup was still there. i can't comment more on the food, i got the flu the week before and after it hit i didn't eat much more for the rest of the trip.

I totally agree. We were there in August and it has always been a must do on our trips because we spent our honeymoon at the GF. My wife and both of my children both said they were disappointed and had no desire to go back in the future. The food was kind of lame. Nothing really special and bland and the deserts weren't much better. Also, they did away with the soft serve ice cream machine for the kids. My kids always looked forward to making their own ice cream sundae. My children are older (13 & 10) so they could care less about meeting Cinderella and the other characters.

It just seems to have gone downhill, and this is coming from the world's biggest GF fan!
