Has anyone who has visited DLP in Oct or Nov give me an idea of when is the best/worst time to visit during those months with regards to crowds?

With Halloween, Bonfire Nights and Christmas events on I am not sure when to go. Our last trip ( New Year a couple of years ago) was so busy that we really want to try to choose a less crowded time.

I assume midweek is quieter than weekends? We would avoid last week of Oct as this is English half term. Are there any French holidays to avoid?

Thanks so much for any info.

Nov. 1 is All Saints' Day, and Nov. 11 is Remembrance Day.

I went 6th - 8th November last year. Was there for one of the Bonfire Spectaculars, as well as the start of the Christmas season!!! Great time to visit, with lots going on, weather not too cold, and still relatively quiet, - especially during the week.

If you're interested, the Bonfire Spectaculars are on the 6th, 8th and 10th this year, while Christmas starts a little later this year, on the 11th!!

We've been in November. Benefit of lower crowds and the start of the Christmas season :)

Our last trip was late november, avoiding the week end. Queus were 0 minutes at most rides. Only at Dumbo or Orbitron we have to wait 10 minutes.
Weather was great until sunset (after it was freezing! )
It's a great time to go to Disneyland, you have all the xmas decors & shows without the people from December.

We went first week of October 2004, all the Halloween stuff had begun, the weather was fabulous and Tues and Wed the parks were empty. :)

November is a great time for a visit. Less crowded (even at the weekends) than in the summertime. I've never been there in October, but I really would prefer the Christmas mood you get as from the 5th November. Bonfire is a very exciting event, but it will be more crowded at these days than in a between-the-events time.

I went around oct. 25th-30th. It was really quiet, even the weather held up for us!
Minnie much

But the first week in November can be very crowded because in France and Germany are school holidays! And the 1st November is also a bank holiday in France and Germany! :thumbsup2

Mid-November is great!!! Christmas stuff has started, not v busy and not too cold (compared with December or February!!!). :cheer2:

Just be aware that in October the park has a Halloween theme with a villains parade. DD, age 3 would hate this as the pumpkin men would freak her out, as would all those villains. :sad2:
Also, not seeing the Princess parade would be a huge disappointment. :furious: For these reasons, we've always avoided going then. Guess it depends if you're going with children and what they like. :confused3

We went right at the end of October a couple of years ago. Managed to catch the Halloween Party, the bonfire and fireworks and they were starting to put up the Christmas decorations in a lot of places so we got a bit of everything.

The crowds weren't bad at all, noticable busier at the weekend but still not horrendous.

Having said that though we do have two boys who adored all the villains in the parade and loved the pumpkin men and spooky stuff. So much so that when we decided to go again they begged to go for Halloween again 'so there's not not all the princess stuff' ;)
