Anyone been in April?

Depends on what time of the month you go Victoria.

If you miss Easter then crowdwise it's not bad at all, however if you don't it will be busy yes.

It's generally a good time to go as the weather is just about perfect.

We went at Easter last year, and it was busy, but with the time difference we were getting there early, so by 2 oclock some days we happy to head back to the villa, feeling like we had done enough. If you need to be there from opening to closing, I think you may find it fraught

Hiya
we went for the whole of last April.
Obviously Easter will be mad.
Last year it was really quiet except for the third week of April when it went bit mad - someone said it was the new York states school holidays.
Also, in case you were interested, it got progressively warmer as April went on, but always swimming weather through the day. :)

I have been in April many times. We went primarily over the easter holidays but usually booked a couple of days before the easter break so that we could benefit from the quiter parks. It is busy in the eater holidays and you really notice a difference before the holidays start. Make sure you get to the parks early if you are going at Easter and also check when the US holidays are as they may differ from ours. But I love April the weather is perfect not too humid but hot enough to get a good tan/ swim etc. We did still have pool heating in April but it is still hot.

We went 6th April last year for 2 weeks (not Easter) and found it really busy, compared to our previous trips in May and November. There were lots of Spring Breakers around, and the queues for rides were quite long, especially on the bigger rides ie Test Track in EPCOT had a really long queue and all fast passes were gone, but luckily it was a late opening for on-site guests, so we got on that way - twice in a row! ;)

The weather was not as hot as we had expected, but I think we had some freak weather, as lots of people were buying blankets and fleeces from the shops in the evenings, we had quite a few evening with really chilly winds blowing. We did have other days when it was really warm though, so it was a mixed bag, but not wall-to-wall heat.

Also, must mention that we didn't get to see Fantasmic, the arena was full an hour before the show! If we'd know how busy it was going to be, we'd have booked the Fantasmic Package - we did this for New Year's Eve though, so we got there in the end! :D
