We leave next year on Easter Sunday for the 4 night cruise and I was wondering if they do anything special for Easter. Loved to hear all the details on your trip!!!

I also want to know if there will be anything special. We are on that same cruise, Teri. I have DD14, DS13, and DS 8:sunny:

Just returned from 4 night easter cruise. They had some Easter decorations and some crew were wearing bunny ears. Also some Easter candy. Most of it was in the kids clubs. I think they may have had an egg hunt on Sunday, also in the kids club. Nothing else regarding food or special events. We ordered Easter baskets through Disney and they were in the stateroom when we arrived.

Kremal,

I would love to hear more about the easter baskets you ordered. What was in them and how did you order them. Also, did you enjoy the cruise? Any tips or advice? We have never cruised.

Mermaidlady,

Where are your rooms? We have three kids DD11, DS6, DS6. We are looking into hotels to stay in before the cruise. My dad has told me that there is a big surfing contest held every year on that weekend so rooms book up.

about 3 weeks before the cruise, we received a sheet in the mail offering 4 different easter gift baskets. we ordered the $20.00 gifts, which was a small basket with a stuffed toy and some candy. they were nice and had a personalized card on them. the best tips I can give you are pack less clothes than and you think you need and keep reading the posts and tips and everything else on castawayclub.com. also, take a look at Passporter's guide to the disney cruise. I got it from the library and made copies of the important pages.

We are in a Cat 4 room 8536. We are going to fly down on Sat and we have to decide between Ron Jon's and the Radisson.

We just returned from the Disney Wonder Easter Cruise and had a wonderful time. The weather was a bit cold but then again Disney has not figured out how to control the weather. We stayed at Ron Jon's Resort in a two bedroom unit for $168 a night and it was wonderful. It is right near the port terminal and out of the conjestion of Cocoa Beach (it was very crowded due to the surfing competition). When you entered the main floor the crew members were there to greet you wearing rabbit ears and their was plenty of Easter candy available at the clubs and in the restaurants. There was also a Easter service available on the ship.

One thing that was new to this cruise was the Tour of the Galley of Triton's and Parrott Cay Restaurant. The only way you were aware of this tour was if you attend the cooking demonstration by a Disney Chef. During the demonstration the crew informed you of the time and location to meet for this tour. Apparently the galley tour is popular on the Magic and Disney decided to try it on the Wonder. If you are interested in any behind the scenes look at the ship this is a great way to get a chance to see it and it only takes 20 minutes and is available on your Day at Sea.

This was our first cruise (DS-15, DS-12, DD-10 and a DH) and everyone loved it and can't wait to go back next year.

Enjoy your cruise.
