Anyone at SSR main pool on 5-22...and after...

Hi,
Wondering if anyone was at SSR on 5-22....

That is the day we arrived.....
The pool was HOT....I'm talking bath tub temperature.....
I couldn't believe it....

The rest of the week....pool was COLD....
I asked the lifeguard....what's up with the cold pool....
She said it was 81...just like it should be...

Well it must have been set to like 88 on tues....because
the difference was unbelievable...

Just wondering if anyone was there and noticed this.

Not ther eon dates you mentioned but 81 is pretty much a standard. feels cool at first especially when air temp is in the upper 90s, but after a few minutes it's refreshing. Like our pool at home in the low 80's any thing higher gets uncomfortable.

We pool hopped to SSR from BWV on May 17th. The water at SSR was cold IMO. I wasn't the only one who felt that way either, many people discussing it and really mainly kids in the pool.

Seems to be the Disney way of reacting to the complaints. They probably got complaints so in turn raised up the heat. They then hear groaning about how the pool is too warm so they turn it off or down. I'd much rather see a temperature maintained. 84 is what the WDW pools used to be heated to and it was great in the winter and summer. I'd say very acceptable to most.

Sorry about the pool experience. BWV pool was at least 5 degrees warmer than SSR. We enjoyed our day at SSR pool but a couple of degrees on the pool would have made it perfect.

We stayed at SSR from May 20th to May 27th. I noticed the change in the tempertures also.. My DH said "no it feels the same... cold" but I thought it felt much cooler and only got in the hot tub instead. So it's not just you.. I noticed the same change.

I was there May 24-31. It was COOOOOOOOOLD! Hsd to go in the hot tub to warm up.

I really liked SSR....I was in Congress Park....really nice to be able
to walk to DTD...
Scenery is pretty and relaxing....
In fact we only went to the parks 3 days out of 7...

Main pool is great....felt cool except for one day when it
felt very warm.....all wdw pools feel the same mostly though...

Pool slide was long and fun...there is a small slide for toddlers also....
Artist Palette was very good....everything made to order...
Bus service was great....
