I don't know if anyone has any interest in this but I thought it would be worth putting out there. My mother and I are taking a little girl (14- but she's really little, lol) on her first trip. This is a trip of a lifetime for this girl who has grown up with foster care. We are not wealthy and so I have been collecting souveineirs (sp- sorry) that we will pack and then give her throughout the trip. (I found some really neat things inexpensively) I am interested in making small packages for any kids- big OR small that might benefit from a nice surprise left for them. All I would ask is that the person requesting the surprise recipricate for my mother or JerryLynn. For example I have several Disney beanies in new condition with tags- I could package them nicely with pixie dust and character specific stickers or something and leave them at the front desk. We don't have any pins- so trading for a pin or two would be great. Does anyone understand what I mean first of all... second of all would anyone be interested in doing something like this?

That sounds like fun, and a very sweet gesture. We are staying at POP from 9/5-9/11 and I would be up for it. My daughter is only going to be 4 so she would love just abotu anything, especially with pixie dust

Thanks for considering this bump worthy! LOL! I just wanted to add that while I thought it would be neat for people to reciprocate, I will make up packages for anyone that might not have the means or would otherwise be unable to do so. For those without the means to buy something, you could always make a list of hidden Mickey's or fun facts about the parks (like the famous ring at the HM or the Cinderella statue getting "crowned") and put it on nice Disney themed paper with Mickey's handwriting (you can download the font - just search "walt disney font" on google). You could then put this in an envelope and put Disney stickers on it and leave it at the front desk addressed to the little princess (or prince!), from Mickey Mouse. I think the kids would love to find these things, and they will love the idea that it came addressed to them from Mickey himself!

To find a list of hidden Mickey's, go to www.hiddenmickeys.org. It's a rather extensive list, but if you take the time, you can list some of the easier ones for kids to spot. They also list fun facts there as well.
