Anyone at MGM Studios right now??? Face character meet & greets on the way back....

So I have heard from a reliable source....that the Stars & Motorcars Parade has changed to 3pm and that there is meet & greets at 4:15 and 5:15 at the hat that may feature our favorite FACE CHARACTERS gain!!!!!!!
WhooHoooo!!!!!

If only it were true!! MGM will regain it's character glory! I haven't seen a face character (besides Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable) at MGM in a long time! That awesome group of face characters that used to meet has been gone about a year now - be great to get some unpredicable variety back there!

Was hoping you would see this! I know you and Meeko are the ones that love the characters just as much as we do! Hoping for some sort of "live confirmation report"

I hope the parade time change is true. I've been trying to fit into my schedule but the 4:00 or 4:30 times make it a little difficult. 3:00 would work perfectly.

The Official WDW site shows the parade change time. I noticed it on Sunday.

I then had to inform my wife that we would need to skip our nap that day....

Since when have the face characters disappeared? When I was at MGM last year, I saw Jasmine, Snow White & Mary Poppins on the same day.

We saw the face characters out at the Crossroads area last 9/30. It was shortly after that that reports were that area was no longer being used. Face characters have been very rare at MGM since.

What face characters are you talking about? In June 2004, we saw Mulan at the hat -- at the same time, Pocahontas, Meg and Hercules, Snow White, Jasmine and Aladdin were out. DD4 is a big Mulan fan so we met her first but the other lines were closed by the time we finished. In 2005, it was Donald, Goofy and I forget who else --but all characters we had met at other parks or meals. It was quite a disappointment. We are going in December this year and DD6 and DS4 are really looking forward to meeting characters -- we have been working on an autograph scrapbook. It would be great to finally meet Meg & Hercules.

That would be great! My DGD loves the characters in MGM, and would be thrilled if there were face characters to meet as well. Okay, I love the characters too, (DGD is a great excuse) and plan around the meet and greets .

It would be great to finally meet Meg & Hercules.

We saw them last fall. They were great! There was no one else in line - they were kind of hidden in an alcove. They spent time looking through DD's book, congratulating her on finding some rare ones & giving her tips on how to find some others. They told us Phil should be joining them in an hour, but we weren't able to go back.

The only reason we found them is because we were excited to see the Evil Queen, and the CM asked us if we had seen Herc & Meg, and pointed us in the right direction.

Just back last night. The parade was moved to 3 pm as we almost missed it! Also the big boat at the end of Fantasmic was gone - we went twice to the show and it didn't run either time.

We were in MGM last Saturday (September 9th) and the parade was at 5p.m. However, I didn't see any face characters doing greetings, just the usual (oh wait besides Kim and Ron who btw had no line as I don't think many people know who they are). Also the boat at the end of Fantasmic was in fact gone.

I hope they aren't gone. They weren't even in the Stars and Motor Cars Parade when I was there last month, which had me worried. They were in Fantasmic though. It would be great to see them come back since they're some of my favorites too. Last time I saw them was before I started collecting autographs again so I don't have theirs, only pictures.

Yes....sad to say the Hercules car was taken out of the parade and replaced with Power Rangers car. If you look close, you will see that Hercules is still there in spirit (or in the lightining bolts on the side of the car )

Hopefully the boat in Fantasmic returns SOON!!!!
