DD and I are headed out this morning. First Cape May Cafe, then a little World Showcase & then onto MGM.

Hello! We were in MGM this past Wednesday (13th). I saw on the times guide the parade was at 3:00--we missed it though since we were napping at the resort. One of my daughters and I went back to MGM at 4:30 p.m. --and they DID have face characters at the hat.
These were the characters that were there:

Jasmine, Alladin, and Jafar (all together)
Mary Poppins and two Penguins
Snow White and the Evil Queen
Pocahontas and Meeko (is that his name??)
Cruella DeVil (sp?)
Goofy
Chip and Dale

It was really neat! My DD and I only had time to take pictures with Jasmine, Alladin, and Jafar though before the chars went on break. The CMs said they'd be back out again at 5:05, but at the point we were watching "Beauty and the Beast" show, so we missed them!

Great to hear that there are some more face characters back at MGM. Kim and Ron are absolutely awesome, but it's great to have more. I hope they're still there next time I'm at MGM.

I'm glad someone reported! DD and I never made it out of EPCOT today. She decided to do the Kidcot Face mask from Worldshowcase... we got all but Mexico and Canada! Walked past Mexico to go to Test Track - figured those two are easy to get on a day we are just doing Future World!

We are going to try to go to MGM tomorrow afternoon, after I do some REAL LIFE stuff like laundry, bake cupcakes for school, and go to the grocery store! We will be sure to hit there around 4pm and just WAIT for some good stuff. I would love Jafar, the penguins, and an updated pic of Evil Queen and Cruella with DD!

I heard from someone that Mary & a penguin were in UK today, (I don't have Penguin), but by the time we got back around to there it was Alice and Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and RABBIT. We've been Rabbit hunting for some time!''

We saw Timon and Mulan with absolutely no wait, and Jasmine & Aladdin had a very short line -we did not stop for them! The two times we passed by/thru France there were no characters out.

The park was not very crowded! But by the sounds of it most TS places were full. DD and I had ADRs at Cape May this morning & we grabbed a bit at Tangerine Cafe for lunch.

We put in a long day (for us!) We also saw the Story Teller (had never taken the time to stop and listen - very cute story) and the drums! I love them. The CM at Kidcot made DD three origami pieces - a dog & two cats. We were there for quite some time as it was the first stop for the Kidcot today.

We had some fun pin trading today too!

Also rode the boat from BC to International Gateway. I love going in that entrance... it is so "laid" back!

Anyway - I know no one asked for a mini trip report.... but you got it!

We both just had a dip in the pool and now I'm relaxing with some iced tea! Bed time will be early tonight (of course I have to download my pics first!)

I'm glad they moved the parade to 3:00 p.m.

It was tuff to get to 4:00 p.m. Fantasmic/ADR's unless you were in the park really early...glad we can now breeze in after touring different park in am.

Congratulations on finding Rabbit!

We're looking for him too. On another thread, someone saw him by American Adventure on 9/15, so maybe we'll finally find him.

Good luck with Penguin - there's been quite a few recent sightings.

We saw peguin near the American Adventure with a number of other- Prince John and Friar Tuck and Chip and Dale. It was the first time I was able to get a picture with just me and both Chip and Dale. That was about 3 weeks ago though. It was only about 11:45.

We were in character heaven at MGM this afternoon. We headed over and got the park about 4pm. Tara did a little pin trading and then we headed toward the hat! Next I hear music that I know I have not heard at MGM before, and next thing you know there are characters EVERYWHERE - now not your normal meeting at the hat characters (well a some of them), but the ones we have all been hoping for (well at least Tara and I!) This was approx 4:15.

Here is who came out - this is counterclockwise looking toward the entrance around the area in front of the hat -
1) Evil Queen
2) Jafar
3) Queen of Hearts and White Rabbit
4) Mulan & Mushu (we skipped them - we saw Mulan yesterday & Mushu recently)
5) Snow White & Dopey - close to the hat - right side
6) Belle in blue dress - in front of hat
7) Goofy and Minnie - left of hat
8) Pluto
9) Mary Poppins and THREE penguins
10) Chip & Dale!

A CM that we spoke to on the way out of the park who Tara was pin trading with said he was excited to see the new characters - he did say that Cruellas sometimes appears as well. She must have been off today!

Pics coming in a few - they are downloading - uploading or whatever!!! Pics in the morning.... I'm too sleepy to post them!

Rabbit is a tough one..I saw him in 2004 in Animal Kingdom in his halloween costume, my avatar......and then finally again at the toy shop in the UK at EPCOT in April. I was told by the CM that he is pretty regular there now...but who knows...I want to see him again in Oct when I go..Good luck to you as well! Rabbit is sooooo cute.

Please excuse Tara's blue crocs, she could not find her pink ones, and we were on a time schedule to get out of the house!!!! Had I not kept that schedule we just might not have been able to get through so many characters the first time!

I particulary LOVE this one - I was a huge Mary Poppins fan when it was first released in 1964 - saw it at the drive in with my parents - and after 42 years, I still have vivid memories of that outing...

Tara thought Jafar was creepy!

Queen of Hearts - I have a better posed picture - but I love the QofH pose in this one! She was "upset" with White Rabbit about something!

Woooohooooo!!!!!! So glad to see everyone out and about again!! Lets hope that Disney keeps this going!!! I know the Characters are just as excited about this as the Guests are!!
