Anyone at BCV now?

How are the pool temps? Dothe sofa beds have new matresses? Is the resort and the parks crowded? How is the bus service? We are getting there on Sun. and I can hardly wait! Thanks for any info.

I would like to add to the prior post and ask those who own or have stayed at BCV what views are the best, along with the other questions asked. My family will be staying there in August. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Since no one else has answered, I was there from 1/8-1/13, recently, and the sofa beds on the fifth floor were still the old ones. Sorry, I don't know about pool temps since that week was pretty cold, too cold for me to check out the pool. What are the "best views" varies in opinion. My favorite view is the woods views. My absolute favorite was the view I had of Illuminations:

We just left there last night. The pool was very warm. I was actually very surprised. We were in room 564 and had a great view of Epcot fireworks and we could also see the higher fireworks from the MK. Every night when we opened our door we could see the "ball" all lit up. This was one of the best rooms we have ever had. No new mattress for the sofa bed. Buses were great. They did say that there was over 500 rooms checking in tomorrow and that this weekend was going to be busy at BC. Have a great trip.

Those of you that have stayed there...would you - given the choice - stay at BCV or SSR? We just stayed at SSR for a quick weekend trip (01/29 thru 01/23) and we are IN LOVE with the place!!

I actually had wanted to book either BCV or BWV - neither had any studios left - but what would you do? Ok, I know the location is a big plus for BCV/BWV...but what else?

SSR is newer, the rooms are in better condition.

SSR is near DD

Those are the biggest plusses for SSR.

BCV has the best pool in WDW, the BW is 5 min away, and yes the location is unreal.

The key to any resort is location location location.

Simply look at WDW's site at the cash prices for a stay at any of the resorts, and that price will show you the "value" that WDW and the public has placed on each resort.

BTW, I am not a BCV owner.
