Anyone at AK today? 6 attraction closures?!

Definitely weather. My boss was supposed to fly home from Orlando today with his family and his flight was canceled. They tried to get on another flight but all departing flights were full.

I guess the boss’s kids were heartbroken.

FoP had a 2 hour posted wait time,it ended up being 40 minutes.Only spent about 2 hours in the park to ride FoP and Everest,when I left the rain was getting heavier,not a nice day for theme parks.

We are here now and the weather has been horrible. Our garden tour was canceled half way through due to lightning. We wadded (above our ankle) back to YC and then went to AK. Navi River was posted at 60 minutes but we waited 35. I had FP for FOP and then lunch at Satu’li. All in all very wet but peaceful. I have extra FPs to make up for weather closures and most people are not in the parks.

PS they are letting us reschedule the Garden tour which makes my DH very happy.

It was black as night where I work until about one pm, and even then it was dark and gloomy. Not the best theme park day as far as weather is concerned.
