Anyone Applying to Mom's Panel Tomorrow?

It's that time again! Disney Mom's Panel is taking applications beginning tomorrow morning, I think at 9am Eastern time.

I've applied every year...guess it can't hurt to try, try, again.

The thing I hate is everyone asking me if I made it...obviously NOT, since if I did, believe me, you'd know about it for sure...and then they are all shocked that I didn't. My Non-Disney friends and family just can't imagine that there are so many other crazy Disney fanatics out there taking my spot.

They recruit new moms each year. Moms that make the panel get a free trip to WDW for training.

I do believe they've had non-moms on the panel before. I know there was a dad one year and I think there was a childless woman one year...

i know, i totally relate. There are a lot more of us disney nuts out there than people realize. maybe some of us are in the closet more so than others? anyhow, my friends are shocked too when i didn't make it. heck, i didn't get to the first round. the chances are pretty slim with more than 10,000-20,000 entries. but it is fun to try nonetheless. can't win if you don't play, right?

definitely go for it. They've had Dads on beforea and have also accepted applications from grandmas, single parents and adults with no children. It can't hurt if you are interested and at the very least, you get in their database to receive the disney moms newsletter and sometimes other special things too.

Same story- I've applied before but haven't made it very far. Friends and family do not believe there is anyone who would know (or care ) so much about Disney than me!!

Questions and application comes out tomorrow morning right? I'm not missing these questions somewhere right now am I?

I dont think the Kid thing matters as much as love and knowledge of Disney. They take Dads and call them Moms.

If you're selected and have to go to WDW that weekend in December, are you on your own as far as getting and staying there?

Well we skipped going for the past two years in order to wait until our son was old enough. So I don't qualify due to the past 12 month rule.

I went the end of last May and am going in 12 days is that good enough? I hope so. I was not able to go in May. I still want to try.
