Anyone an expert with the transporatation within Disney or know of an in-depth website that lists the approximate travels times from specific resorts to other resorts? and to the parks? i have a rough list of what our days will be like and the priority seatings for those days. i'd like to add the travel time from the park to the restaurant so that i allot myself enough time to get there.

for example, we're staying at the GF and i need to know how long it would take to get to the AK early one morning for breakfast. and how i would get there. please help.

I know there are plenty of WDW transportation experts here. Also, in the UG, there's an entire chart of time tables between various resorts and parks. Even gives a range from less crowded to busier time allotments.

UG is the Unofficial Guide to WDW, a popular guidebook.

That site is about 95% right. So, just be careful. For example, there is NO bus from the TTC to DTD even though it shows there is one and how long it would take.

I always give myself 45 minutes going from one place to another, maybe even an hour, unless within walking distance.

I know that sometimes it can be more convenient to take the boat shuttle from one of the EPCOT area resorts to either EPCOT or Disney-MGM Studios, but I have forgotten the path.

The important factor for making the boat shuttle convenient is to know the direction of the stops of the service. Can anyone confirm that the following is the correct path and stops?

Board Walk Hotel
EPCOT International Gateway
Yacht & Beach Club Hotels
Swan & Dolphin Hotels
Disney-MGM Studios
then back to Board Walk Hotel to complete the circle.

I'm not sure if this is the right order of the stops the shuttle service makes. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can confirm this OR correct it.

We stayed at the Boardwalk once and I remember a tip to walk to the Swan to go to Disney-MGM Studios. This was a great tip because from the Swan & Dolphin Hotels, the Studios was the next stop. If we had gotten on at the Board Walk we would have wasted a lot of time.

Its not really a circle.
The order of stops are:

Epcot
BWI
YC/BC
S/D
MGM
S/D
YC/BC
BWI
Epcot

Depending on the crowd, there are usually 3-5 boats working the route.

And yes, if you are at BWI and see you just missed the boat going to MGM, walk to S/D and get on the same boat since it first stops at YC/BC,

You're right....that is not a circle. Thanks for the input. It looks like everytime they pass a dock...they stop. Good to know. This will help a lot.
