Anyone addicted to these boards??

ok..my sub-conscious is telling me I'm stressed and addicted to these boards!! I had dream last night! First off my DH and I are Dis vets and would have no problems packing and flying down to the world at a moments notice. We know our way forwards and backwards and tons of info, tips, tricks, secrets, etc. Jan. will be our first trip with our 18 mo, DH's parents and sister (whom I love), and 2 friends of ours. I was so stressed initially thinking about taking a baby to Disney..how could that be done?? and trying to PLAN with a large group who knows nothing!! Well I thought I felt good about things and being more prepared until this dream last. Can't go into all the weird details but...

most of it involved loosing the baby somewhere. We've always taken Tiffany Towncar but now I've read somewhere they have a 20 min stop instead of 30 min. In the dream we are in this HUGE warehouse type grocery and panicing to find stuff and we forget about the baby!! Then I forget to order the crib ahead of time from ABBF and it's midnight and we have no place to put the baby, we leave him on the bed and forget about him and my DH flops down on him, then we put a towel in the bathtub and try to put him in there!!! I call the hotel operator asking for the ABBF ph# and she keeps giving me a web address. I say "I don't have my computer..THIS IS A VACATION!!!" All kinds of similar things go on and right before I wake up I stop in the middle of the hotel room and shout...

"If only I had the boards....they'd know what to do!!!!"

I told my DH and he now thinks I'm totally crazy. Now I think I might be packing the laptop...in case I have a question for you guys!!

So am I nuts??

And yes I have an addiction too! So bad that as soon as we got home from our WDW vacation last Sunday I was already back on the boards reporting and answering posts.

Yep, Im an addict too. These boards are all that keeps me sane from one trip to the next and my trips are 2 years apart. So Im in the club too.

Yes I'm addicted as well. It could be worse we could all be shopping on Ebay.
When my husband wanted to take us to Disney in Feb for a quick trip my family said "you don't want to go now mom. You enjoy planning the trip more then going on the trip." Now I have to say I do enjoy going on the trip more then planning but planning is such a large part of the fun. There is so much to learn and so much left to do.

Del here--you're handy-dandy Dis therapist. Yes, there is a cure!! I recommended desensitization. We all need to go to Disney every month and do our thing. The more we go; the less we will be addicted. Now we will have to collect accurate data on this study, so we will have to examine all parts of the park. It is a lot of work, but we will just have to suffer and do it! Financing??? We could write a grant proposal to finace it all.

The first meeting is on November 20th at appx. 3pm. I'll be on Main St. watching the parade with my lime green ribbon with my 2 girls feeling like I'm 10 again. Disney Magic--that is what is so addictive.

We just booked our off-site condo on Tuesday, and I'm already going crazy thinking about our trip!!!

I can't get enough info., thank goodness for this board!

It's been 5 years since our last visit, and this will be the first visit for my 5 year old daughter.

I need alot of info about staying off-site, so I'll be visiting these boards every day for sure!

in less than 50 days! 01/03/04 0900 MK, 01/04/04 MGM, 01/05/04 1/2 day in AK (if it's not too humid ... bad for asthma), & a PS @ PTC to meet the rest of the Dis boarders who are also undergoing intense therapy that involves food sessions

I MUST go to Home Depot to get my lime green MM paint samples before the weekend is over.

I must begin to gather things to pack as we will be leaving right after the Christmas rush...

I am trilled that our tree is "fake" as I won't have to worry about it while I am at the WORLD!

We just went for a week in May and I am wanting to go back soooo bad I cant stand it. I am seriously have withdrawal symptoms. AND Im totally jealous of wuv tiger and anyone else thats going in the near future. My next trip isnt till May 2005!! Can I wait that long? I dont know.

I am VERY addicted to these boards! I read about 9 of the different DIS boards everyday, and spend about 3 or more hours on them at work! Granted, I keep it on all day, and keep checking my subscribed threads. I LOVE THE DISSSSS!!!!!!
